A week after the beach party, Calvin, Camille, and Rachel had been called to protect Mt. Moon from Team rocket activity there, despite being on vacation, one, and two, they were only trainees. Unfortunately, there weren't enough active Rangers, and the trio were the most capable in the Kanto Branch for the job. On the upside, the trio would receive pay for this job.

"I wouldn't turn down work that pays." Calvin said as they scaled the mountain.

"Me neither!" Togepi chimed.

"Let's just do this." Camille said.
 
"Whether it pays or not isn't really important, we should just be glad that we get the experience." Rachel said.

"So true, as always." Calvin said, stopping at an overpass. He looked at the ground below to see a Team Rocket Grunt walking around. "He must be patrolling. Let's surprise him." He said quietly, waving them over.

"We could have a few Pokemon drop on him. That would probably distract him long enough for us to get down there." Rachel suggested.
 
Calvin smirked as he saw several Geodude half-buried underground. "You ready to rock?" He asked with a chuckle, prepping his styler as Camille did the same.
 
"Let's go. Will you do the honors?" Rachel asked, smirking as she imagined how surprised this grunt was going to be.
 
"Gladly. Capture on!" Calvin said, firing his Capture Disc at the sleeping Geodude. One comp[lafter the other, they were captured, and woke up. "Capture complete." he said, blowing on the end of his Styler. "Now to get this party started. Geodude, Rock Slide!" Seconds later, several dozen Geodude were rolling down the mountainside towards the hapless Grunt, accompanied by several dozen similarly sized rocks.
 
"Okay, as soon as the dust settles I say we jump him." She picked up her backpack and slid it on. "I have some rope in my bag, we could tie him up or something so he doesn't alert any other grunts."
 
Calvin pulled out some duct tape, smiling.

"Emolga can paralyze him." Camille said.

"Good." Calvin said. "Okay, now!" He grabbed Camille and Rachel, and jumped as the dust started to settle. Emolga glided alongside them, holding Togepi, who was holding Coco with Psychic.
 
Rachel looked around for the grunt, finally noticing something flailing in the dust, sticking out of the rubble. "There he is." she whispered over to Camille.

"Calvin, ready the duct tape."
 
"Duct tape ready." Calvin said.

"Emolga, now!" Camille said. Emolga set Togepi and coco aside, and fired off a Thunder Wave, hitting and paralyzing him. Then Calvin went in with the duct tape, covering his mouth and tying his hands and feet together. "Now, Rachel!"

"Tie him up?" Calvin said. "You've got the rope. There's a rock over there we could tie him to."

"Oh, I thought we were just going the easy route and just duct taping him, but I guess tying him will work too." Rachel said. She walked over to the grunt and tried to drag him by one of his arms.
"Calvin, could you, er, help me with this guy? He's a bit heavy." she said.
 
"Oh, you never take the easy route. That's just begging for failure. Take a look at this guy." He said, grabbing the guy's other arm, while Camille grabbed his legs. "Okay, to that rock."
 
"Okay, 1, 2, 3... lift." Rachel said, lifting the grunt by his arm. "He's...really heavy." she huffed, trying not to trip as she walked across the rocks, finally setting him down by the rock. "Thanks guys." she said, pulling the rope out of her pack and beginning to wrap it around the grunt.
 
"Okay. One down." Calvin said. "Now, once you're done tying him up, we'll move on to the interior."
 
"Okay." Rachel said, then skillfully tied a series of knots around the grunt so he was completely anchored to the rock. "Lead the way I guess." she told Calvin.
 
"Gladly." Calvin said, leading the group down the bend towards a cave. "Nice job with those knots, by the way."
 
"Thanks, you're not to bad with duct tape." Rachel replied. "You're like a duct tape ninja."
