Malamar is fine im indifferent on it. It's a neat design but I feel like the face ruins it.
 
Forget what I've said in the past, Malamar is the best psychic type of gen 6 and the best Pokémon period. Game Freak wishes they could top it.

Actual thoughts are just kinda eh. The upside down design and gimmick is neat I suppose, but I feel it's trying too hard to be ominous and spooky... Probably one of the weaker Pokémon of gen 6 for me. Though I'm intreseted to see a possible Mega or whatever if that's what they're teasing

Errrr i mean... Malamar forever!

I just saw that the home page of what was formerly Bulbapedia has been overhauled to give proper recognition to everyone's cephalopod bestest friend. I wholeheartedly approve; we can never show too much love to our benevolent squidly overlords.
Seriously though, I laughed so hard when I saw that. I love that the Bulba staff's reaction to the promo video was just to immediately run the Malamar mass hypnosis joke to its logical extreme. My hat is off to y'all!
 
i love malamar, it's the only friend i need, the only friend i know. my family haven't heard from me in over 6 months but i don't need them when i have malamar. i can't even remember the name or any pokémon that aren't malamar, do they even exist? what was i talking about again? oh yeah malar is my friend :)!
 
oh boy, My Friend Malamar! i've always liked that pokemon, owing to its fun concept and delightful design, but i feel like lately i've finally realized how great My Friend Malamar really is and how little everything else matters! i don't need to worry about anything anymore! it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! i've never been happier! thank you, My Friend Malamar! maaaan, it's so cool.
