Check it out. It's a wiki on a fake fantasy world series the Penny Arcade guys did.

Of special interest (to Pokemon fans, anyways) is this:

http://elothtes.pbwiki.com/The Wizbits

It is an oft forgotten fact, usually thanks to some degree of effort on the part of the person who manages to forget it, that for Season 2 of Wizbits Skip was briefly replaced. The original Japanese animators having discovered the popularity of their show in the West decided to replace the most 'Japanese' of their creations with a more generic character. Thus Skip was replaced with the much-reviled 'Doodle', a character whose basic premise was that he travelled Battal drawing crude pictures of other people's familiars (or indeed in some cases their furniliars). Presented as an already established character Doodle's origin story was thankfully never disclosed. Having proved less popular with the kids than even the hardcore fans Doodle was rapidly ret-conned out of existence. Because he was created specifically for the western audience, Doodle never appearred in the original japanese series (see ElamenSTAR).

Poor Tracey. XD I wonder how many people will get that joke?

Wow. Evil... but good. Considering Tracey was one of the main reasons I never like Orange Islands much...

The whole thing is really hilarious because it almost seems to be a direct parody of Bulbapedia. Almost makes me suspect they looked at this very site before making it. The fictional franchise it's based on seems like a combination of Magic the Gathering, Discworld, Pokemon, and Forgotten Realms. Which makes for a funny combination.

For instance - the pink fruitbat is a small magical creature that can only communicate via thought-projected emoticons. These are killed on sight.

They know why.

Hey, you know you're big when Penny Arcade starts parodying you, right?
Warchief Bogg, Knuckles, and Toasty: A trio of roving War Men, henchmen of the villain Char Reyarteb. Played almost exclusively for comic relief, the introduction of these characters was just one of the huge diversions that the series makes from established ELOTHTES canon. Many fans of the Elemenstor Cycle novels complained that War Men - who, lest we forget, tortured the PlantShaman Amberberry to death over no less than 37 pages - should not be portrayed as bumbling, good-hearted fools. Sadly, an internet petition to remove the characters from 'Wizbits' came to nothing.

And the Team Rocket fangirl in me laughs her head off.

Note: The first Christmas Special was made by chopping up other episodes of the original anime, with a Christmas theme poorly added. It was aired only once before being pulled due to strong anti-Semitic undertones.

This seems like a cross between "Beauty and the Beach" and the Jynx controversy. Hilarious.
