I recently started visiting Pokemon.com to keep track of upcoming Nintendo-sponsored events. I'm glad that they do at least host Pokemon that can only be obtained through events. However, according to Bulbapedia, there had been three other events in the United States (two for special Pikachu, one for a special Dragonite), which never was mentioned in the Pokemon.com news section.

I can accept the fact that Pokemon.com doesn't cover events taking place outside the United States, since it's an American webite. However, I do understand that even though Regigigas can be obtained through normal gameplay, there are several places in Pokemon Platinum that can only be accessed with an event-only Regigigas (not an in-game one).

I'm concerned, because if I miss a Regigigas event because Pokemon.com doesn't cover in-game Pokemon... well, how did the staff of Bulbapedia find out about these un-archived American events, where they took place etc.? I know that Serebii.net has a list of event-only Pokemon, but that's just a list of them, not a news archive.

Does anyone know where else I could keep track of upcoming Pokemon giveaway events (besides Pokemon.com and Serebii.net)?

For one, other sources like the places that host them like Toys 'R Us is one way to find out about events.

Really, imho Pokemon.com.. while being the official site, it's usually not too helpful in the way of news. It's not too great as a source by itself.
