This may or may not sound stupid but from what I can see on the wiki and what has been said on the forum that account creation has been blocked due to vandalisim.

Is there any way/chance that I can have an account? as I have a load of pokemon collossium images that i would like to upload amoungst other things.

I would recommend you to wait a while longer, considering that we don't really need any new Colosseum images urgently at the moment (do we...?).

(I know this is separate wikia but) Surly if a considerably bigger wikia like the World of Warcraft Wikia and the Star Wars wikia can survive vandalism with open account creation, bulbapedia can.

It depends on the type of vandalism. Most likely, their vandalism is much much different from the recent vandalism we've received.

The risks of closing account creation for them out weights the advantages, that's why they don't close account creation. Bulbapedia, on the other hand, is quite a small community, so we can afford to close account creation temporarily without facing a riot.

More like Wikia has people from other sites they can call in, while we don't spend all our time on the RC to watch for Grawp. Plus it's become a real pain to block all his socks. We're trying to develop something to stop it but eh.
