Hello, I simply wanted to add a discussion on adding additional sprites and layouts for routes/areas from gen 1. For example, growing up we mostly played red or blue and only later played yellow, mostly. But there were people I'm sure who grew up also playing with Super Game Boy for red/blue. On most bulbapedia articles there is only one sprite or layout per article for Gen 1, in general. It's not that it's particularly pleasing to see the red/blue monochrome for each sprite or area background but that the difference was indeed there for monochrome vs. SGB. In Mt. Moon, for example, you'd obviously find red/blue monochrome playing those games on a game boy color, however the SGB gives a brown/violet environment which has an atmosphere of its own. By the way, this palette is different than the one used for yellow for GBC as well. I simply wanted to bring this up as I was surprised upon playing SGB for the first time as I thought that either red/blue had no colors for sprites/environments or that it'd be the exact same as yellow. Of course we also always knew that Butterfreee, for instance, was either monochrome red or blue but didn't know whether it even had a 'true' color, as you might now see using SGB. Some Pokes looked good monochrome and others did not. Maybe it would be a good idea to represent the monochrome sprites (red/blue/b&w, each had different feelings, you could say, to them) as well, but maybe it wouldn't be worthwhile. Thank you anyway.
