As expected, Alder will also be appearing along Cynthia, who is also a champion by the way.

So, two champions in a single tournament. That's pretty new and interesting as well. Do you think Satoshi will finally get to have a "formal" battle against Alder?

Depends on whether or not he has to get through the elite 4 members first. If so, I somehow doubt he'd make it far enough to reach Alder, and if he did it would feel undeserved.
 
That's cool. I don't have anything against Alder, but he isn't my favorite, either. He reminds me of Jiraiya and kind of just offers words of wisdom.
 
There is nothing written about Alder returning in that text. Only that the winner of this tournament will be able to challenge Alder. Old information.
 
Meh, I'd rather Ash battle Cynthia but yah if he does get to this guy in the end I guess I'm ok with that. It'd sure make Trip's reality crash and burnXD
 
Frankly I hope he an Shirona faceoff. And I want him to win. Not serious, easily distracted bafoon defeating miss perfect serious smarty undefeated awesome pants? Yes please.

(And note, I personally really love Shirona..but even I admit she seems to perfect..xD)
 
Wonderful. It'll be great to see my personal favorite character again, though I do hope he's got his act together a bit more. He can still be the entertaining and carefree guy he was in the previous episode he was in, but I would like to see him portrayed a bit more competently. Personally, I'd like him to get some scenes (Maybe even flirt) with Cynthia. I have a feeling it would be very entertaining. I also hope Volcarona gets some use, as it is his signature Pokemon.
 
Alder comeback is no surprise, we're not leaving Unova just yet and hes still the champ, so...yea...
 
Wow! I am really happy Alder will come back!!!
I am pretty sure Trip will reappear too, because he wants to face/battle Alder :)
