So I'm going to give a try at the fanfic contest. This story's from a topic that we had in the old AdvanceShipping thread. If you want to find out more about it I explained it on my story's FF.net page.

Here we go...

---

Ballpoint Pen...

"Dear Ash..." A certain brunette girl wrote. "There is something I need to tell you..." she went on.”Remember all of the days together we had back in Hoenn? Fun-filled and adventurous..." She paused and thought for a brief moment before writing again. "During these times was when...I realized how I feel about you," The girl yawned. "I was too afraid to admit it so I decided to write you a note. What I needed to say was...I love you. I hope you feel the same way about me...
Love,
May

May drifted into a deep sleep before she could hide the note somewhere.
Later that night...

The door creaked open and Ash walked in.
"May?" He whispered. Ash noticed the note laying on the desk in front of May.
"W-what's this?" He picked it up and started reading it.

"Dear Ash..."
...
...
...

He smiled...
Next Morning...

May shifted in her sleep, knocking over her ballpoint pen positioned just by her elbow.
Thud...!

"Huh?!" May awoke from her sleep. She looked down and discovered her pen on the floor.
"Why is my pen on the floor?" She picked it up and placed it next to a folded piece of paper.
"Why is this here too?" She unfolded the piece of paper and noticed that it was printed in the same ink as her ballpoint pen. Then, she started reading the note.
"...I love you too..."

Love,
Ash K.

May's cheeks turned a bright red as she held the note close.

"Ash..."
