Aahhh... Pokemon Diamond has taken a back seat.. and I haven't stopped playing Advance Wars: Days of Ruin since the day it was released(2 days ago)!

There's so many changes in the game... and it's such an improvement from the last 3 Advance Wars games.

Anyone else buy it aswell?

I plan to purchase it tomorrow, though I had a chance to buy it on the release date (but the store didn't have it). Heard some really good things about it, so I'm excited.

I wish I could buy it but I'm low on cash right now. ^_^;

I'm into Fire Emblem, and while I wait for the DS remake of the original to come out, this Advance Wars looks like a great game.

Actually they intergrated alot of Fire Emblem stuff back into Advance Wars. Units can now level up.. and it's a welcome addition to the game.

I like my Nintendo Wars without gritty angst and realism . . .

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the changes. They aren't...bad, they're just...uncomfortable. It's hard to explain, but it just...lost a lot of the stuff I liked about it, without even changing anything too much. Very much an uncomfortable new feel to a great old game. It's like if Pokemon suddenly died after being trained for a certain amount of time.

Haha, I guess I know what you mean. Personally, I'd prefer if they kept going in the direction of Dual Strike, but hey, it's growing on me.

One thing I don't like is the War-Room is gone.

Frankly, I'm glad about the CO Power nerf since if they kept the old COs, you'll see the Broken Trio over Wi-Fi so many times. Only thing I didn't like is the lack of D2D effects, the difficulty of charging the CO bar (especially Tabitha's), and the exclusion of the War Room, but online play is always welcome.

Oh, and Isabella FTW. She's like Max and Grit rolled into one =D.

Weighted Companion Cube, do you play AWBW too?

And.. I like Gage alot. Really like the mix of indirects w/ sea

Not yet; albeit owning AW2, I'm still pretty new to the AW battling scene. I was planning on registering though.

And Gage's theme is epic. Gotta love those violin segments.

Hahaha, yah. It's not as crazy as one of the other CO's themes. I think it's like Flutes + Drums going metal at the same time.

And yeah.. I suggest battling on AWBW, although i assure you it's 100% faster to do it with the DS. I hat the clicking this-clicking that style of play.
