Hunter sat on a bright yellow lounge chair, sipping lemonade, on his front porch in Pallet Town. He was wearing his usual everyday clothes, minus the hat, and a pair of shades. It was a beautiful sunny day. It seemed so long ago that Hunter had been battling humbly in the top eight of the Indigo League. But, now, he had settled back down, with his mother, in their small, two story house; the one with the red roof. Suddenly, his mother's Persian, Precious, came out of the house, with a flat, circular tray, signaling Hunter to put his glass, which was now full with only ice, on top. Precious purred, then walked back through the doorway. "Alright." Hunter said, getting up and stretching. "Ready for some training?" An Igglybuff, nicknamed Onion, tumbled off of the trainer's shoulder. The wooden steps of the stoop creaked, as Hunter mounted them down, and set off for the wilderness.
