The Kanto Region, home to the famous Professor Oak. Many sight it as the beginning for countless things. Its region is not as advanced as many, but for others, it is the foundation for beautiful nature to thrive and the simplistic land is perfect to allow starting trainers to grow.

In this RP, you can play as a Pokemon Trainer, Coordinator or Breeder if you wish. Hopefully, as we gain sign and post the start-up thread, you can travel with one another in groups, or travel by yourself. However, everyone should be near the same point throughout the RP.

Recently, Mount Hideway near Pallet Town has been gaining much media and social recognition. For some strange reason, the abnormally large Onixs – native to the mountain – have been causing havoc. In addition, other rock types that come to the mountain have acted strangely and for no reason will start attacking wildly with no control.

The RP will begin with everyone near Mount Hideway. You all may not have planned it but you are about to begin your journey. Either you have come to Mount Hideway as you have been attracted to the news, or you were going to Professor Oak to gain a start Pokemon but then trailed off to Mount Hideway due to the news as well.

You will be able to catch Pokemon throughout the RP and you can catch more than six. However, after your sixth one, every Pokemon you own will be sent back to your home. When signing up, take into consideration if you already have a basic pokemon and are visiting Mount Hideway, or have no Pokemon and was on the way to Oak’s laboratory to gain one.

Appearance: How does your character looks? If you do put a picture, you will still need to write at least a paragraph on how they look.

Personality: How does your character act maybe by themselves and with others? Do they act differently with others?

Personal History: Tell everyone a little about your character. What’s their background? How did they grow up? Did anything happen that may have affected them or inspired them? If you already have your basic starter Pokemon, how did you obtain it? If you don’t have a Pokemon yet as you are going to Oaks then don’t fret.

Pokemon at Home: (Once you have more than six Pokemon, all you do is put this heading and under it, include everything you would for your normal six Pokemon. If you want to switch one over permanently then just edit and put the Pokemon stat in place. If you’re just temporarily switching a Pokemon for let’s say a gym battle then you don’t need to switch it, just put in italic under it which Pokemon you’ve switched with and then delete it after you’ve finished with that Pokemon and returned it home)

IMPORTANT:
As the RP progresses, you will catch new Pokemon and evolve some, therefore use this as a stats page. Every time you get a new Pokemon or evolve one or something happens, update it! I WILL BE CHECKING! If you don’t understand what I mean, just look at URPG stats. It’s simpler then that since there’s no money and items and everything else.

Michelle’s style is heavily influenced by her lifestyle. Living for today, she is not what a proper lady would or should dress. Her hair was originally long, but her blonde hair is now in a shorter, asymmetrical bob hairstyle. She has hazel eyes, but with more of a touch of brown, and usually neutral makeup from the mascara to the nude lip gloss. She is a big fan of having her skin tanned, usually fake or sometimes real when near a salon.

Being in the company of her friends that are not of the same background of her, Michelle buys clothes from the high street like normal people. Not just that, but she’s not one to always be in a dress and fancy girly things. She will wear heels, but dresses and bright girly colours are not her thing. She wears a low cut black T-Shirt with an Indian headdress picture on the front, skinny blue jeans and purple platform heels. One major thing she will never forget to wear is her leather jacket. To her, it completes that rebel look she tries to gain.

She has a tattoo that says Tiffany in fancy writing on her inner wrist.

Personality: Michelle’s personality is no way synonymous to her social class or family. Despite what many would classify, a ladylike upbringing, she deteriorated from the norm. A fondness for all things loud and messy, she would always end up in wrong places where she shouldn’t have been as a young girl. Her attributes many, some of her more adamant ones include, flirty, outspokenness, at times lazy and a whole craze of fun.

Nevertheless, although she may seem carefree and wild, when she puts her mind to it, she is extremely tenacious, not letting anything come in her way. Also, being in a high class family, she’s somewhat a little stubborn and egotistical, developing a nature of getting things that she wanted, other people will do what you say and that she’s the only one that matters.

Personal History: Michelle was born in a rich, high class family. Her father the heir of his father’s multimillion company; Robert’s Entertainment. Robert’s Entertainment was a company started by her grandfather, and now under the control of her father, includes a vast amount of entertainment businesses including the casinos in Veilstone. Her mother also works between cities. Her fashion business headquartered in Hearthome.With both parents busy, Michelle and her older sister Tiffany were looked after by nannies. As they grew older, nannies changed. Becoming stricter and enforcing the rules of ladylike behaviour on them so they would prepare them for life in high class.

However, that didn’t stop Michelle and Tiffany. Now Tiffany began seeing a boy you see, as she is three years older than Michelle. She would sneak out at late times, wear different clothing then the wardrobe they were commended too, and began changing. Michelle, after influencing from her sister, decided to follow her sister at the age of 13. She found her sixteen year old sister wearing a short black dress and walking into a club with a guy. After a while, Michelle began wondering what was it like to be daring like Tiffany. That’s when, at the age of 15, Michelle had begun hanging around with a different group. She drastically changed from her sister. Her long hair was chopped, her clothing became different and she would cause problems for her parents through headlines portraying her drunk or kissing guys, to sneaking out of the house.

Just before her 16 birthday, her family had got a notice. Tiffany, who at the age of 17 moved away and became a coordinator in Johto, had died in an accident with some drunken friends. One of the things Michelle received from the will was a Misdreavus. Tiffany was going to use it in the Grand Festival. Deciding she needed to do something in her life, after the wake up from the death of her sister, she set out to become a Coordinator.

History: Misdreavus was originally her sister's Pokemon. She had recently caught it before she died and was planning on using it on an upcoming contest and thereofore made it learn a few moves and hoping it would later evolve so she could use it in the Grand Festval. It was one of the many things, the only pokemon though, left for Michelle in Tiffany's will.

Allen has medium length messy black hair that goes down to his neck along with a pair of matching black colored eyes and white skin. He wears a black colored polo shirt along with an orange sweater under it along with a pair of blue colored jeans that have pockets to the side and on the front. He always carries a CD player strapped to his waist along with a pair of headphones and earphones depending on the occasion, he can usually be seen with an earphone over one ear and another one in the other.

Personality: Allen is very calm and cheerful, he tends to be friendly with everyone he meets and he usually always helps out his friends when they're in trouble. He's very lazy though since he prefers listening to music instead of doing any kind of hard work. Allen can also be very playful with people and plays pranks on people at times and likes parties though mostly because he always volunteers to be DJ. He does have a bad side to him though and usually critisizes people that talk badly about his taste in music.

Personal History: Ever since he was little Allen had always had a fasination with two things. The first one was music and the second one was being a trainer, of course at the time he mostly pursued music and was always trying to increase his knowledge in music but he was also interested in battling. Allen's father left when he was six years old and as thus his mother had to support the both of them for most of Allen's life, in turn Allen started working as a DJ in multiple parties to make some extra cash. Because of this he had to put his journey on hold and it wasn't until recently that he finally decided to start his journey along with his two house Pokemon.

History: Firecracker has been Allen's pet since he has memory and is supposedly the child from one of his dad's fire Pokemon and his mother's Arcanine. Firecracker got its name when Allen was a kid though Allen is still embarassed from ever given him that name. However, Firecracker is still Allen's strongest and most loyal Pokemon and always goes to great lenghts to protecth its master.

Class: Trainer

Appearance: She has long, slightly-curled, light hazel-brown hair, reaching somewhere in between her shoulders and mid-back. The color of her eyes is turquoise blue, while her skin's complexion is slightly tanned. Her usual attire of choice is a white or green shirt, cream-colored jeans, as well as white sneakers that have light blue streaks and designs. Kimberly stands at about five feet eight inches and has an averagely curvy figure (for her age, that is). She has a silver bracelet, a "lucky charm" as she calls it, on her left wrist. When the weather is cold, she'll have a violet-colored wool jacket on. When the weather is warm, on the other hand, you'll see her wearing blue shorts instead of jeans. Her bag is a red backpack, and she likes to keep her Pokeballs conveniently clipped on her belt.

Personality: Kim has a rather quirky personality, if you will. She can be a very friendly, hardworking and caring person at times. She loves Pokemon, and will tend to anyone in need. She may have a bad temper when you get on her wrong side. She does not like it when her ideas are challenged, and likes to be the leader-like person - but as long as you don't downright ignore or challenge her, you'll be fine in her book. She also has a habit of getting lost, her sense of direction is not that great. Luckily, she has Pokemon who are better at navigation compared to her. She can also be hyper at certain times.

Her determined, challenging, and high spirited personality brought her to the dream of becoming a top trainer of the Pokemon World, and her goal is to be one of the first trainers to complete the league. She is adventurous and loves to read, write and run. She likes sports quite a bit, and is also a fast runner. She has some posters and information of famous Pokemon trainers, such as Misty, Lance, Red, Cynthia, and some of the Elite Four. When she's alone, she's usually reading a book while listening to some music.

When in battle, Kimberly is pretty straightforward, and likes to have a strategic plan ready before hand. She's pretty tough and determined, too. If anything goes wrong, she'll do her best to change it on the spot, so you'll never know what might come your way. Sometimes, though, she is over-confident, and too offensive, but it often turns out fine. She might get a little proud sometimes, but it would wear off after some time. Defeat will only make her strive and train harder.

Personal History: She was born in the region of Kanto, in the city of Cerulean. She is the middle child, her two other siblings being both boys. Early in her childhood days, she developed a love for Pokemon and battling just like her father and elder brother. Her mother was a breeder, and so she was also very caring and gentle with Pokemon. Kim was expected to have a love for Water-types as well, which was why she was given a Water Stone by her parents. Though she did like Water-typed creatures a lot, her first Pokemon was a Normal-type, Eevee. She also developed a determined and spirited personality, always aspiring to beat her brothers in almost every aspect of life - especially when it came to Pokemon battling.

History: She was caught in a rather violent storm one day in Kanto, tossed into the water flowing through Cerulean City. Once the rain and wind had died down, Kim and her mother set out to inspect the damages and to keep a look-out for any and all Pokemon that might've been hurt. She found the Eevee, battered and all, on the riverbank. She nursed the creature and cared for her 'til she was well. During that time, they became good friends and formed a strong bond. They've been inseparable ever since.

Name: Mitch Kennedy
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Class: Trainer

Appearance: Mitch stands just under six feet tall (although he'll tell you that he is actually six feet) and his most notable feature are his bright sky blue eyes. When he smiles, they shine like sapphires but when he is angry, they turn a dark blue, like a storm raging across the ocean. Mitch has messy dirty blond hair that he keeps kinda short. He wears a sharktooth necklace and prefers to wear sandals. He is very tan and his build is athletic. He carries a black backpack at all times that has a special slot for his skateboard.


Hometown: Cinnibar Island, Kanto


Personality: Mitch is the definition of a free spirit. He glides through life with a smile and his presence lights up the room. He is loud, brash and charming and he loves a good time. He is a loyal friend to those he is close to, but he also has an incendiary temper. He loves to skate, surf and snowboard. He hates the cold, but he will tolerate it as long as he is out on a mountain snowboarding. Mitch isn't known for planning things out. However, he is a master of improvisation and thinking things out on the fly. He can get himself out of nearly any situation as long as he has just a few moments to make a quick plan.

History:

Mitch was born on the tropical island of Cinnibar. His mother and father both work at one of the larger resorts on the island. His mother is one of the managers of the entire hotel and his father is the head chef of the highly regarded cafe that overlooks the water. This resulted in two key things in Mitch's childhood: The first is that his parents both make a good living so he never wanted for anything. The second is that his parents weren't around much. Therefore, Mitch was free to do as he pleased for the most part. From a young age, he spent his time in and around water and as a result is an accomplished swimmer. As he grew up however, he knew that he didn't want to join his parents at the hotel and that he wanted to leave and find his own path. However, he stayed because life was good living at home. He didn't have to worry about anything and he could have as much fun as he wanted.

But on his sixteenth birthday, he decided that enough was enough. He knew that if he stayed any longer, he'd never leave and he'd just end up working at the hotel with his parents. So he told his parents that he was leaving to see Professor Oak to obtain a starter... and off he went.

Appearance: Short brown hair with green eyes. Tyler is in very good shape because of all the climbing he did at home. Wears jeans and polo's shirts most of the time. He carries a large backpack with him filled with most essentials needed for travailing.

Personality: Tyler is shy around people he just meet. Even after knowing somebody long enough he still only a few moments of really outgoing personality. He likes to observe others behavior to try and know their strength and weaknesses before opening up to them.

Personal History: As a little kid Tyler grew up in Fortree living a life like most kids in the town did. He spent a lot of time climbing tree's and running around on the walkways between tree's and on the ground. He watched the wild pokemon fighting around Fortree whenever he got bored. One day he was out on the walkways when a Seedot fell on him. He brought it home to show his parents who were supportive of him trying to train it. He was often beaten do to Seedot being weak and small. This desire to win made him want to train even harder.

History: Xavier was often seen around Fortree, even if most couldn't tell the difference between all of them. It was happy just scarring bird pokemon foraging for food. After scarring a Swellow it was knocked off a branch and fell on top of Tyler. From there it kept playing pranks on Tyler and others, in between training sessions.

Name: Thomas Sierra

Nickname (optional):Rose

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Birthplace: Floaroma City

Class: Coordinator

Appearance:Thomas is semi-tall, with semi-blonde hair and jade green eyes. He is in fairly good shape,though he could be better, and typically wears khaki pants with a pale green t-shirt and a normal green jacket.

Personality:Matthew by nature is typically calm and collective at most times. However, he is a hopeless romantic, and thus his personality changes greatly in the presence of women, and this can be an improvement or degradation depending on the circumstances at the time. Due to a near-fatal run-in with a swarm of Beedrill in a forest when he was still a very young child, Thomas is near deathly-afraid of Beedrill, along with most Bug-Type pokemon in general.


Personal History: .Thomas was born and raised in Floaroma City. The City itself can be seen as a partial cause for his natural preference towards Grass Pokemon. There is just something in the elegance that they typically possess that always manages to catch his interest. His favorites, though he currently possess none of them, are Ivysaur, Roserade, Vileplume, and Butterfree. He learned about Coordinating from his older sister Rei, an experienced coordinator. Since he took an interest to it, she often let him practice with her Roserade prior to him receiving his own pokemon. This undoubtedly was a major influence in his choice of pokemon to recieve as a starter several years later.

At the age of eight, he was allowed to choose his first pokemon from a wide variety, including some from other regions . True to his nature, and also due to his desire to have a Roserade like his sister, Thomas chose a Bddew.He decided to name her Spring, and then continued to develop an affinity for the elegant things in life in the following years. He has always been a hopeless romantic, and thus he has become very close with several girls, though none of them have nor are very likely to ever develop into a serious relationship. While he truly cares for each girl he knows, none of them struck him beyond any more than just another girl to charm.

Oddly enough, Thomas was not very enthusiastic about beginning his journey in his home-region,Sinnoh. This could be for various reasons. For one, Thomas had already seen most of the areas in the Region that interested him, whether it be due to a family trip or just visiting a relative. It could also be due to the fact that he wants, for the first time in his life thus far, to be on his own, making his own decisions and then, subsequently dealing with any issues that may arise as a result.For these and many other reasons, Thomas decided to go to Kanto to begin his journey instead, despite the fact that it is the native region of Beedrill and its previous forms, which Thomas is near deathly-afraid of.

History:Budew was chosen to be Thomas's starter pokemon when he turned eight, over many other rare and exotic pokemon. Though the two of them have not yet actually entered a Pokemon Contest together, the two of them have become very close nonetheless. While she, at times, wishes that her Trainer would be less romantic every time he meets a new girl, she does truly care for him.

Name: Camari Copeland

Gender: Female
Age: 15
Birthplace: Jubilife City

Class: Coordinator

Appearance: Camari has tanned skin, light brown hair, and hazel eyes, and stands at 5'9" with a slender curvy figure. She wears a black shirt and miniskirt with black and white striped knee socks and black shoes.

Personality: Camari has two sides. The first is mainly is mainly quiet and shy, and is nice to everyone she meets, regardless of how they treat her. She also likes helping people. She likes to read and play with Pokémon, as well as cook. She tends to be rather playful and flirty when you catch her in the right mood. The second is an aggressive fighter who hates stupidity and anything that's annoying. If someone annoys her, she won't give a threat, she'll just break as many bones as she can before someone drags her away. There's no way of knowing which mood she's in, and she switches moods without warning, so mess with her at your own risk.

Personal History: Camari comes from a well off family in Jubilife City. She could have had anything she ever wanted, but she didn't take advantage if this. She was not spoiled like other rich kids, and was always quiet, reading books about Contests, wanting to take after her mother. When she turned 10, she received a Cleffa, and was able to start her journey.

Personality: Rather hyper, can act before she speaks most of the time... Is extremely sociable, outgoing, and is extremely loyal.

Personal History: Mila grew up in the bustling city of Slateport, Hoenn, home of one of the greatest pokemon contest hotspots. Her mother, Summer travelled through the various regions of the pokemon world, and now Mila wants to do the same. Her twin sister, Rosa became a Pokemon Ranger, and the two frequently have... "discussions" on the goings on at the pokemon contests, and feels that her sister constantly looks down on her. She has vowed to become a greater coordinator than her mother, just to prove her wrong.

History: Mila found Midna after they visited the ice room of shoal cave 3 years ago. They found that she'd been in a pokemon battle and had lost badly, and was in need of medical attention. Out of the two sisters, she had trusted Mila more, and after she was taken to a pokemon center, she decided to travel with her instead.
