I don't have a gameboy color or physical copy of the game. I do it online but found another site by doing a search just now. Arcadespot was the website I used. Before that it was Playr.org/games which went down many years ago.

The website I was using for pokemon yellow though...it's stupid host server is down.

Renamed Keith with the opponent being Gary.

Wake up in room, Keith plays SNES then goes and withdraws 1x potion from computer before going downstairs. Leaves house, tries going outside and stopped by Prof. Oak who appears out of nowhere where a wild pikachu is caught. There I meet the little brat that is Gary who immediately complains, can tell he was never said no in his life. Oak gives Keith the right to get the pokeball before being shoved out of the way so Gary can steal it for himself which turns out to be an Eevee. Keith instead gets a wild pikachu as his partner. Keith leaves Oak's lab and briefly talks to Pikachu who hates Keith before continuing through the grass on Route 1. Gets a potion from the guy who works at viridan market. Then head up to Viridian City and go into the pokemon mart after checking out the trainer tips sign where Keith is roped into being delivery boy and has to go all the way back to Pallet Town. Keith takes his team back to Viridian City Pokemon Center to heal up again. Wish you could explore the pokemon center like in the anime. But this was like 1997 at the time so...they didn't think that far ahead probably, not that it has ever been a thing to equate the games to the anime or even the manga come to think of it. After leaving the Pokemon Center, Keith checks on Pikachu to find it still happy which is good. Looks like Nidoran (female) needs 2 exp. points to level up to level 3 and Nidoran (male) needs 27 exp. points to level up to level 3. Rattata needs 58 exp. points to level up to level 6. Ugh, a lot of grinding.

One might ask why I do not catch a Metapod. Metapod only seems to have Harden in my experience of playing Pokemon Yellow so I prefer raising from Caterpie. Keith goes back to the Viridian Center Pokemon Center to check the PC, mostly so I can see if I have any other pokemon. I have no other pokemon at all at the moment so should probably catch some. I did also check Keith's storage system which has nothing and Professor Oak's raiting which says 7 pokemon seen, 5 owned. It tells me that I still have lots to do and to make sure that I look for Pokemon in grassy areas.

Keith talks to the guy in a hat who tells him he can use the PC in the corner. Get the heck out of my way there so I can walk buddy. Leaving the pokemon center, yet again, I head towards the Indigo League and end up running into a wild pokemon. Just a lousy Nidoran male, level 4. Ugh. Well I guess it's a good execuse to battle so Nidoran (female) comes out.
