Adventures to Anime?

Everyone is basically tired of the Pokemon series I mean people would think Red can own Ash anytime, so I was thinking how good it will be for the manga to become a Anime, so it'll be like one chapter is one episode and the movie can be based on the Final Battle or the Yellow Arc Idk yet but it'll be cool to have one but once it goes to the Emerald Saga "SO MANY CHARACTERS!" but still it'll be better then the Pokemon now what do you think should Adventures be put in an anime?
 
Hmmm.....Pokemon Adventures would probably make a great anime, in my opinion ^_^
 
Because Mangas do not do as well as Animes.
Besides, it would never get aired outside of Japan.
 
I doubt it'd be able to replace the mainstream anime, but I wouldn't mind a 13 episode mini-series (RBG/Y Sagas) and then maybe adapt more if the first series does well.

Mangas don't do well as Animes...? Almost all the Animes I watch were popular mangas. You've never heard of Naruto or One Piece, have you? Teeheehee. I love seeing comments where people have no idea what they're talking about. :spin:
 
No, not really. It's still going strong in Japan and although it's no longer a fad, in many countries around the world, there's a strong base of viewers for it. Besides, changing it now? After 13 years? Not a smart move - they're more likely to see a huge drop in ratings.

And to be honest, I don't want the Special manga to be made in the anime if it'll replace the current one. Once upon a time, I would've but now? No. Special works as it is. the anime works for what it is.

I enjoy the anime and it gives me what Special fails to deliver - personality amongst the pokemon and strong pokemon-human interaction.
 
Hmmm. Well, I'd really love to see Special made into an anime, but the problem is that it'd conflict with the main anime. Not to mention, it'd have to start way back in Kanto and Gen I again because everything is linked. I wouldn't mind it, but a good chunk of the fanbase probably would.

And then you have to worry about the anime being ruined. I've seen plenty of manga-to-anime transitions be amazing, but I've also seen a fair share of them turn out bad and and stray from the storyline.

I think it could work if it was executed right, but only for a very small percentage of its fans.
So, yeah. It depends.

It might work I posted this on most Pokemon forums and it's about 70/30 on everyone 70 being yes/maybe and 30 No/or it's going to bad. I'm thinking of a mini-series like 13 eps like what Digimon was inteding to do but if it gets great reviews or ratings go for 8o eps or around 50 for season 1 then go up to around the Diamond and Pearl Chapter although I think the yellow arc should be a movie or some good plot about team rocket to be turned into a movie
 
I'd love it if the Pokemon manga was made into an anime, but alot of others wouldn't. Ratings would probably drop and the people who haven't read the manga won't know what the heck the "manga anime" is talking about. It would be nice though. :3
 
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing this series air on TV alongside Ash's adventures. (Not that I see it happening.)

But this is how I'd handle the series. The RGB arc and the Yellow arc. Each episode is a half hour. (With commercials and all that jazz...) And what's listed wouldn't be the titles- they're just the chapters that are in each episode. Just so you know, Episode 26 starts the Yellow arc.

To copy what I said on Sppf, this is assuming there are no fillers (which I highly doubt), and that chapters end and start when episodes end and start. Although to make some exceptions...

* The very short part after everyone leaves to battle the Elite Four Members.
** The short part with Green (the boy) and Koga.

Doing it like that, you get a year of episodes in total if you have a week a year. But this is without one week breaks. There'd eventually have to be more of an effort not to catch up with the manga volumes, too, but for the first year, things would be fine.

Wait... what do you mean by that?

I don't see why ratings would drop either. (I don't even think it would compete with the anime, which some people are saying. Wouldn't it be made by the same studio? Couldn't kids watch both?)

If Adventures was made into an anime, it would be toned down considerably... Which would probably defeat the purpose of adapting it into an anime since the actual anime does a good job at what it does.
 
^ I don't think it'd be toned down any worse than what Viz has been doing with the current editions. If this series were to become an anime, I don't see it suffering in ratings or something like that due to the toning down it would get.
 
I would link the development footage of a fanimé on Youtube, but I'd probably be warned again.
 
Still, to people unfamiliar with the manga, having two animes based on the same thing would be redundant. Plus it would be subject to the same raking over hot coals that the anime currently goes through repeatedly.

You know how the anime's fans are. They would bitch about how it's somehow inferior to the original anime, The characters are wierd and unbelieveable, how it's too "hardcore" for young children to watch and probably another dozen non-sensical complaints.

They're two different concepts, plus it's a manga adaptation. Think of FMA and Brotherhood.

Anyway, Adventures? I'd rather have a more true manga be adapted. I guess DP Adventures fits the bill. Plus I'd hate to see Adventures become an anime.

They are not.Both are depicting the same world.The only difference is how they do it.In the characters,plot and such.But they are the same concept.

Young people who live in a world inhabited by fantastical creatures(that are the same in all universes,be it the anime,the special manga,or the games,in this sense,the world of pokemon doesn't vary much adaptation by adaptation)who coexists and work together to improve and get stronger.

Witch is why another anime wouldn't be that much of a big hit.
