Affiliation Request

Hello, I'm Bidoofs, the webmaster of Global Trade Station Plus. We're a fairly new (open for ~2.5 months) Pokémon trading site and media resource, and I was wondering if Bulbagarden would like to affiliate with us.

The main feature of our site is a coded trade station that we made ourselves that allows users to showcase Pokémon they're offering for trades, and make very specific requests as to what they want for them. We also recently added a new feature allowing users to list off what they're looking for, and, should someone post it, opt to automatically receive a private message and/or email, notifying them of it and linking them to the trade. Note that the bulk of this is only available to registered members, although guests can still view some of our trade station as well.

Another of our features is a growing section of media resources. Our image gallery features a collection of high resolution Sugimori artwork, as well as (to my knowledge) we're the only site that has shiny artwork of all the fourth generation pokes. We're also in the process of recolouring all previous generations' the art to their shiny forms. This gallery is updated on a regular basis by one of our staffers with new shiny art, as well as new scanned artwork.

One of the very unique features in our media resources is a "trainer shot" creator that allows users to choose pokemon and a trainer image, arrange them as they like, to create a signature image, and users can even have this image uploaded directly to Imageshack from our site. Here's an example. Note that guests and newly registered members will be forced to have a background on theirs.

We also plan an opening a Pokémon roleplay in the future, which is currently under construction, and we will be hosting our second WiFi tournament in about a month's time, although there's no set date as of yet.

Actually, I told him to make it a post, partially because I wouldn't remember otherwise (memory like a goldfish, seriously), and partially because I make it a policy to get community opinions on any site before even considering them for an affiliate position.

Okay, I've been aware of the site since mid-Summer, and it looks great. I was actually plannong in affiliating with them, but they're way out of my league now, I'll have to grow some more before asking (XD). They're really fast growing and I think you should consider it.

The GTS thing is actually pretty close to my original plans for something pretty similar. I completely commend you on actually getting it done (though I decided to forego my own system on the grounds that its utility would be pretty minimalised in comparison to the actual GTS and Trade Topics/Forums in general).

The layout's a bit generic though...

But still, it's a unique site as far as these things go, provides stuff no other site currently does and fills my own affiliate requirements pretty much almost to the letter - so I don't see why Bulbagarden shouldn't go for it.

Serebii said he tried this a couple times and it didn't please him...plus, a majority of Wi-Fi leagues have trade centers, but not to the extension of this place.
