After 9 years, I'm back from the dead

Over 9 years ago when this community opened up, I remember it as Bulbagarden with the Bulbaindex (I think that's what it was called) which gave me updates on all of the episodes of Pokemon.

I was 10 years old.

I registered on these forums under the name "Lugia123" and I am the original Lugia123. Many of you OG's will remember who I was and remember all of the spam and crap I used to post. All of you hated me. I think even got an admins password one time and changed the forums to private once. Nothing malicious, just a big headache.

Now it's been 9 years since I grazed these forums and I'm back to say I'm sorry. I've grown out of Pokemon and have even moved on to college. No longer do I browse forums and cause mayhem.



So to all of you newcomers, just remember....there is some history behind this place. And yes, even a little 10 year old nerd can do something with his life.

I probably won't hang around but I just registered here to say hello to all of the users.

I definately remember UPN and I remember that all of the admins and mods had BG at the end of their usernames on the old boards.

The big four concept and term was used way before 2002. It was consistently used many times during 2000.

And I don't think there are that many BMGers actually here from the old days. So you probably aren't remembered.

Concept maybe, but they were never referred to by that term until after the days of the anti-spammer alliance. At least, not on UPN or BMG.

Unfortunately, that's probably the case. Besides myself and a bare handful of others, most of the members here are from 2003 or later. And even I only have a vague recollection of your antics. ^^;

And since we're distressing from the topic, your former name Lugia123 is somewhat recognisable. Though I came to BMG when it was constantly buggy.

I remember you as Lugia123. I was "unregistered" when that was allowed. I may not have been here as long as you, but my first experience with Bulbagarden was in 1999 through UEG.com (Ultimate Episode Guide).
