After Sinnoh

I've been watching some older episodes and realized that after each season they don't spend much time back at Pallet town. There usually is an episode which has half of it dedicated to it but there is much time to see Ash's Pokemon and see him relate to his friends and family. After Hoenn he was there to battle Gary before leaving for Sinnoh. What do you hope they do after Sinnoh? (If there is a similar thread then can someone provide a link?)

Nothing too out of the ordinary. The group's return to Pallet Town, a one or two-episode Misty appearance, Ash announcing he's challenging Johto's BF, etc. The usual.

So what? That's what Ash does now. He returns to Pallet Town for ONE episode after he completes a quest, dumps all of his pokemon (except Pika), and heads to a new region to catch new ones.

or he first goes to stark mountain etc, for the showdown with Charon.

My two cents are he'll go back to Pallet after the League, rest for a day and then go to Sinnoh/Johto BF, wherever they are...

I'm pissed off that Ash and Brock go their separate ways in Kanto, then Brock just magically comes back.
I know the guy has to see his family too, but following Ash around?
