Exactly on schedule, the new OP premiered on TV tonight. (As opposed to movie, which was last Saturday.)

Here are the usual OP & ED spoilers:
Takeshi was seen with a Usohachi
TR was seen with a Manene

It has even more of that 3D CG we're starting to see.

The music... is more or less like the BGM of the trailer - it's somewhere in between Ready Go! and Challenger!! in terms of style. The performer, for a female sounding name, has a rather deep voice though...

The title card and eyecatches have not changed.

The ED can be succintly described as like Pokemon Ondo.

Finally: they've replaced Advanced Adventure in the episode previews with Battle Frontier. ... damn, I've forgotten if it was instrumental or vocal...

BONSLY! YAY! I love it!

I hope we see non-shadowed versions of the Brains as well!

Want to see it!

Does Tracey or any other "none-regular character" appeared in the opening?
Thanks

One part does have the screen scrolling up as Oak, Delilah, Birch, Tracey, and Misty (with Azurill) appear.

Scott is in it too!

Charizard is not seen in any parts with Ash, so I guess it is just staying for a bit.

Onepart has TR dancing with Manene and their Pokemon (Dustox seems to have been forgotten...) as Manyula jumps across the screen.

Somone pointed this out before elsewhere, that they seem to be spamming the recently uncovered D/P Pokemon quite a lot for the anime.

Out of the 5 reveal, all 5 have appeared in the openning, one has been caught, and it looks to be that several more will be captured.

Is this a sign of eagerness? Of wanting to move on to the next game-influenced saga? I don't recall ever seeing so many new Pokemon in the Orange Island OP, BF's comparable arc. Of course, I haven't seen the JP OP in a while, I don't think it even had Lugia.

The anime in the time of Johto never seemed to have this many spoilers either. I can think of Kecleon and Blaziken (and that was a big surprise) being it.

Why, even Lucario is in there! Granted, which is probably a throw back to the movie. But it's a good example of how unafraid they are to shove these fresh Pokemon in our face. Maybe several of you already caught wind of that with Munchlax and it's just now hitting me in the head.

And they've paired Lucario with Mew this time... Last, it was Mew and Jirachi - two of the four unobtainables...

Brock had better hatch Bonsly from an egg. We've been waiting for ages to see him do something at least a little related to breeding.

It's kind of sad how hard they're whoring out the few DP Pokemon we know about. They might just give Lucario to Max just to emphasize the point. -_-;;

I really like "Battle Frontier"- the song, that is. I have yet to see it paired with the animation. "Pokémon Kazoe Uta" is very obviously meant to remind long-time viewers of "Pokémon Ondo." The opening notes in both songs are almost identical. The song is... okay... Not one of my favorites. I still need to see the animation, also.

Well I guess logically he'd be the next one. Misty had an egg (more like a dead weight), Ash had an egg. Bonsly's a baby Pokemon, so why not. Heh, good thinking.

Poor May. I wonder what she is so upset about.

There is a possibility that that Bonsly could belong to Max. Brock is more likely, though.

It is very possible that the order of Frontier Leaders could be the order Ash faces them. I have to wait another 3 months for Emerald, so could someone get the order of the facilities?

Noland appears first, and he is the first Frontier Leader.

On another note, Jindai appears to be the Pyramid King.
