...Sup people. Thought since nobody else has, and the episode is due to air today, I, the ever fabulous Alfonso would elegantly open this thread in a beautiful blaze of outstanding glory. :3

So yeah. Details of the episode shuld be coming on soon. ^_^

...Oh, and according to our good friend Zak, Keade's 5th Pokemon was a Scizor. You know, ANOTHER one. >.>

Gardevoir is screwed (And not in the good. Must-be-Hentaied way.) once again. -_- All hopes rest on Tetsuya to make us proud.

Ooooh, Scizor. Great. ^^ I just watched Wired For Battle today too, The More Scizor the Better. ^^

Wow, you already posted this? You're fast, lol, 5 minutes after I posted it I was gonna come here and its already here. Lol, anyway, details ahead.

Well, just to recap what happened last time, Ash has lost Pikachu, Torkoal, and Glalie, while Kaede has lost Dugtrio and Misdreavus. The battle ended with Misdreavus and Glalie both fainting (due to Missy's Destiny Bond).

Ash uses Corphish, Kaede uses Golduck.
After a little while, Corphish wins.
Kaede uses Venomoth, Ash switches to Swellow.
Venomoth Disables Peck, but Swellow wins with Aerial Ace.
Kaede uses Scizor, and Swellow wins once again, with Aerial Ace.
Kaede uses her only thing left, Walrein... and beats Swellow.
Ash uses Corphish again and is beaten.
Finally, Grovyle Vs. Walrein, and Grovyle wins this one.

Also, after that, the second tournament starts (Masamune and Tetsuya advance as well), and Ash is already facing Masamune at the end of this episode. Also, Masamune is having a bit of trouble with his Pokemon obeying him and is kinda losing control. The battle starts with Corphish Vs. Girafarig. Masamune has trouble controlling Girafarig, and Corphish wins. The episode ends with Masamune about to call his second Pokemon...

...Dude, I posted this thread over half an hour ago. XD

Interesting. Swellow pwns two Pokemon, eh? And Corphish beats Golduck. :3 *nods* Good stuff.

However...

...I like this twist. Masamune not being able to control his Pokemon, I mean. Very interesting, but I have to ask: How the hell did he get all those badges if he couldn't control his Pokemon? :0

You did. I was replying, five minutes after, and my computer froze, so the reply was a bit delayed. Rofl.

But yeah, I'm not sure if its all his Pokemon or just Girafarig...

Ah, according to Golden Darkness, he had difficulty facing Ash because he was nervous/too shocked about being paired up against him. *nod* He couldn't believe it...

...maybe someone should give him the tapes to the Indigo League, Johto League, Whirl Cup and the Grand Festival. XD

Yeah.

Here's what happened.

Ash tells Corphish to use Vice Grip. Masamune tells Girafarig to use Light Screen. Corphish breaks through the Light Screen and clamps on Girafarig. Corphish later lets go and gets in front of Girafarig. Masamune orders a tackle, but Corphish dodges and it ends up tackling ice. Ash orders Corphish to go in for the attack, while Masamune orders Girafarig to jump. Girafarig does, but upon landing it slips and crashes on to the ice floor, leaving it open for another Vice Grip. Masamune orders a Iron Tail, but Corphish dodges that and finishes Girafarig with a Crab Hammer.

Ash is actually smart. He knew Venomoth had Disable, so he had Swellow use a crappy attack to be disabled, and used a good one in the form of Aerial Ace.

Since when does Disable Disable an actual attack oO;

Hasn't it been used before in other ways?

Since the last episode. :p Venomoth used Disable to disable Torkoal's Iron Defense in that, and then Swellow's Peck in this.

Er...sorry, but do you (or someone else) mind posting this in it's own gallery? All the extra pics are rather distracting...

Wow. Just, wow. Swellow and Grovyle really kicked some *** and took some names in this ep. The Grovyle vs Walrein battle was one of the best battles I've EVER seen. EVER. And the Corphish vs Golduck battle was bizarre, hilarious, and badass all at the same time. All in all, an excellent episode.

I'm intrigued about what exactly Masamune's problem is as well...waiting for Murg or someone who can possibly shed some light on the subject, as I couldn't figure it out myself.

Masamune's problem is basically that he can't bring himself to fight a friend. He has no trouble competing with Ash over every little thing when nothing but pride is on the line, but in a serious battle with real consequences, he can't seem to put his feelings aside.

Thought it was something like that. He must have never had to deal with that situation before, unlike Ash. Interesting that they fleshed out his character a bit like that, I wonder if he'll get over it during the battle. I think he's gonna lose regardless though.

I just noticed that there's been no mention of one of the surprises in the Kaede battle. Walrein used Mimic to gain Quick Attack, thereby complicating things a bit in its battle against Grovyle.

It's nice to finally see SOMEBODY like that, considering most Pokemon characters are more than happy to whomp on their best friends for any reason. I think besides Masamune, Pikachu in the Waterflowers episode is the only other character who shared the same sentiment.

As usual with automated screenshotting, most of the good ones got away.
