The Battle Tower is in sight but before Ash gets there, he is attacked by a group of Beedrill. Anabel saves him and they have a battle.

Ash will be using Tauros, Corphish and Pikachu, while Anabel uses Alakazam, Metagross and another Pokémon that we aren't aware of yet.

We already know that Ash loses as he has a rematch in the next episode.
 
Tauros is cool, Corphish is okay, we don't know his third for sure iirc, I heard Pikachu might not be battling.

Well, we might get a rematch, so I won't complain about this team.
 
I wonder if it will be the same one he used against Drake.
 
You mean the same one he used against Drake in the Orange league, in the Tauros competition in Johto, and against Gary in the Silver Conference?

They'll never tell us, but it's pretty obvious that one Tauros is closer to Ash than the others. (One Tauros actually came up to the videophone when he called Oak) i.e. the one he uses.
 
What would you say are the chances of Tauros having a new attack or two? So far we've seen it with Horn Attack, Take Down, and Fissure...how about Horn Drill, Earthquake, Hyper Beam, or Double-Edge?
 
I havent seen the preview yet, but this will probably be the cliff hanger for the week after this episode, which is known to be the one where Ash beats Lily and finds out where the battle pyramid is. There has been speculation of the Sevii islands and that might be a good twist. That also may be why they started the next season.
 
Yay for Tauros and Corphish, two of my favorites. I hope this isn't another, Lt Surge remach thing where,"OMG ASH CAN OVER COME THIS IF HE ONLY DOES SOMETHING INCREDIBLY RANDOM"
 
For the first time the title seems to make sense as in it had corphish fighting a gyrados in a lake that looks like the very scenario in the priview so maybe it will happen. Plus lila looks like a boy or am I missing something?.

Is it just me or is Pikachu using Volt Tackle towards Ash at the end of the preview?
 
No, it looks like Pikachu is going to Volt Tackle itself into a wall and Ash calls out to stop him. Most likely he runs onto the field and stops Pikachu in his tracks, which is why he loses as he'll be disqualified.

Either Metagross or Alakazam used Confusion on it to get it confused.

Result: Ash fails to win the Ability Symbol.

PS: Anabel seems to have a Espeon in the next episode.
 
Interesting it actually went exactly opposite to how I imagined it. This makes me even more excited to see a) if he's going to change his team up a bit and b) who is gonna really shine out and by the way has ash had a clean run yet?.

He has a rematch with her in the very next episode, and logic dictates that he'll beat her.

The writers had to give Ash one token loss this saga, so this was the last chance to do it. I wonder what he'll use to beat her in the next episode though.
 
Tha'ts...quite surprising actually. Ash didn't even get to her final Pokémon. My guess is that in the next episode he will come up with a stategy to beat those two, (hopefully involving Tauros,) but then have his main problems against the third Pokémon.
 
Since Tauros knows Fissure, he should just take the easy way out and try to KO all her Pokemon that way. :p

The only Psychic type trainers that Ash didn't have a problem with was Tate and Liza, but that's only because of the whole Thunder armor on Pikachu and Swellow thing he did.

Another reason why Ash needs to get himself a good Dark or Ghost type Pokemon...
