I don't know about you guys, but I am in love with this game. I have been playing it for 4 years now and am quite good. Does anybody else share this love?
 
Yeah - I play this game loads with my friends over the net, I always lose though..., but I still love it!
 
Either civs with good defensive capacity for turtling up (Teutons, Korea, Byz - I think, been a long while), or civs with excellent cavalry (mostly, Huns and Mongols)

Although I've been known to play Britons and Turks at times for the Janissaries or Longbow.
 
Would any of you be interested in having a BMGF tournament in this game?
 
I love it although I can't play it online anymore because it's annoying. I've tried everything from reinstallation to completely removing it all.

I usually play as the Japanese. The samuri do some damage to enemies, accompany with some catapults and arbalests and your onto a winner.
 
I played this so much back then when my friend was still in the area. To bad
the flare and appeal has died down a bit with other online games out there. There
just isn't that much time to play everything.

I recently got back into it, but my sister wanted to try and she hasn't given it up ;_;.
Its still very fun.

I definatly can't wait to see AOEIII. If you haven't seen screens,
then you better. This game looks very cutting edge!
 
Yeah I have all the patches and stuff, it's just annoying me for the hell of it ;;

And yeah AOEIII looks absolutley amazing. Google now! >O
 
I'm in more of a hurry to get Civilization IV than AOE III, tho.
 
My sisters and I still have matches when we have nothing better to do. One is best with Britons, another with Persians, and I generally like the Japanese. That fast pack/unpack ability for the Japanese Trebuchets is really useful...

I do well, although I really hate playing against the computer when they're Chinese. Maybe it's just me, but the computer's really annoying when they play Chinese...and not even a hard kind of annoying, just an annoying kind of annoying.
 
Noooo, they have elephants, which 1 archer can take out. They are too slow to even catch up to it!
