Inventor Le Trung, 33, created Aiko, said to be “in her 20s” with a stunning 32, 23, 33 figure, shiny hair and delicate features.

She even remembers his favourite drink and does simple cleaning and household tasks.

"Fem-bot" Aiko, who has cost £14,000 to build so far, is a whizz at maths and even does Le’s accounts.

Le, a scientific genius from Brampton in Ontario, Canada, said he never had time to find a real partner so he designed one using the latest technology.

He said he did not build Aiko as a sexual partner, but said she could be tweaked to become one.

“Her software could be redesigned to simulate her having an orgasm and reacting to touch as if she is playing hard to get or being straight to the point,” he said.

So he didn't have time to find a real woman so he took the time to build one? Anyone else find that contradictory?
 
Only if it took more time to build than it would have taken to find a woman. I bet there's a formula to figure that out somewhere...
 
Build a woman VS find a woman...Hmm... There would be a number of variables involved, to be sure... :p

I don't know if it would be such a great idea to try and reprogram her.
Many months ago I saw a video of what happened when her creator grabbed her chest. She tried to slap him. Sweet little sex-bot she ain't. O.O

But yes, she can "feel" physical sensations, including pain. Pretty amazing for robotics technology. (I just wish people wouldn't ask the infamous "But can you screw it?" question.)

First off, why don't you guys read a bit more? He's not from Japan, he resides in Canada. He never intends for it to be his wife, girlfriend, or sex-slave. Freaking stop knocking this guy down, he's a freaking genius. He's creating something that will prosper in the future. So what if he lives by himself and doesn't have an existing girlfriend? Do we really need to be so judgmental towards him?

Like fuck, that's why I hate news snippets. They take the vulgar and stupid comments and leave out the ones that are full of intelligence. So what? She might be able to have an orgasm. That's the realism he wants to give to her. The whole point of him bringing this out to the world is because he lacks sponsors. Aiko currently has cardboard fingers and wears Trung's mothers clothes. And then people packing the brains make comments that pretty much agree with the hilarity of the article. I don't even want to look at what those Serebiinetters responded to this.
