like illumise and volbeat and the two nidos

How else are they going to reproduce?(especially the 100% males)

Also 100% male pokemon could get egg moves

^ Hm, that's probably true. xD But I still think it'd be cool.

I don't think every pokémon needs a counterpart, although it would be nice to see an event for the other gender. Like a male kanghaskahn as an event (emancipation anyone?).

I don't think the U.S. wants to see much more of anything relating to Jynx.

No one cares what the U.S. thinks. It's not like game freak removed the slots because of the U.S., they had to do it theirselves.

That's some big talk for the DUTCH. /FACE

But what do you mean by an event? A pokemon that's only given out at events? Or just something in-game that acknowledges the absence of the gender?

I disagree. One of the main charms these pokemon have is that they don't have a counterpart. This is good since some of these pokemon don't have much else going for them.

I still think Gamefreak should've just gone with the flow and made Mr. Mime an all male counterpart.

Don't pull that "its Japanese name is gender neutral" thing. It looks like a dude, is right next to a very humanoid Pokemon that became female (Jynx and Rougela aren't that gender specific really), and would've made things a lot easier when it came to the English versions. I could understand them not caring about the English market prior to Pokemon becoming a fad (evidence: Jynx) but by GS they should've paid attention to the Mr. Mime thing.

Well, pokemon has always had pokemon that look like one gender but are both. Think Machamp and her lack of bra. Nope, not going to say it.

So, the gender neutral argument does have some backing to it.

But still, it would've just saved so many confused kids.

I don't think all Pokemon who look like a certain gender need to be male or female only, but still, Mr. Mime...I mean, dude's always screamed male-only for some reason. Mainly because it looks more humanoid than Machop, Makuhita, and some of the other male-only candidates.

I mean, fuck, they gave Mr. Mime an extra finger...nothing should be impossible now!

I don't see it looking more male than Machoke, but okay. Still, it is a bit of a laugh to get a female Mr. Mime. I named mine Tim Curry.

I can dig it. I'm the one with the Gyarados named Ackbar.

Thats what I named my Swampert. Nice

Although, to the topic under discussion I like the fact that Chanseys, Kanghaskans etc are all female and the Hitmons and others are male.
It sort of encourages interbreeding and promotes the idea of Pokemon in the wild co-operating in some sense.

Did you take him to Victory Road so that he will be wary of the trap?!
