Allying into a Nintendowiki assocation?

I was thinking, there are a couple of other good Wikis on Mario (http://www.mariowiki.com/Main_Page) and Zelda (http://zeldawiki.org/Main_Page). Perhaps it would be a good idea to affliate the top Nintendo franchise wikis into something similar to Encyclopedia Pokemonis? Any thoughts?

And considering the current Brawl mania, don't forget the Smash Bros. wiki (http://www.smashwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page)

It would be nice, then we could link to the other wikis in regards to the other Nintendo chars in Smash.

The affiliation would be rather loose, wouldn't it - there would be hardly any interlinking, for one.

Staff members, Smash Bros, console information, and cameo appearences would be the main driving force behind the interlinkage methinks.

Would there be any particular downsides to joining an affiliation? Requirements, extra links we might not want, so on... aside from that, the rest would seemingly be upside...
