After all, Blackjack has been harping on me to post these for... well, it may as well have been forever; I think it was when I was still going to the TRHQ boards. ^^; Anyway, honoring her request, I'm now posting my ENTIRE collection of Final Fantasy fanart (and I'll warn you now, there are a helluva lot of them).
A couple of disclaimers first, though. The one thing I especially want to mention is that most of these drawings are OLD... some as many as 5 years old, which to me and my art may as well be a lifetime ago. As such, I don't think they're really on par with most of my more recent work.
That brings me to point No. 2, which is that every one of these pictures was done before I figured out how to use Photoshop or any other such program. Therefore, they were all done by hand (and as such have only stark whiteness as backgrounds).
And lastly, all of these pics (with the possible exception of one or two) are done in SD "chibi-style", so... if you don't care for that fanart style, turn around and make a run for it now.
You've been warned.
All that being said, here they are:
Final Fantasy V
Bartz & Boko - My first (and only =p) FFV pic! Done on request.
Final Fantasy VI
The Brothers Figaro - The twin brothers Edgar and Sabin.
Celes Sings - *shakes head* Ancient, ancient... I don't care for it, but oddly enough it seems to be one of my most popular pics.
Cyan - Or Cayenne, in Japan. Done on request.
Esper Terra - Terra in her Esper form. Very basic.
Locke Plays Guitar - I'm more forgiving with this pic than the singing Celes one... Locke's a cutie.
Military Grrl - Celes is my favorite FFVI character, as FFVI is my favorite FF (if you couldn't tell).
Mog Poses - The best of my singing/dancing series, in my opinion. ^.^
Relm & Strago - Kind of inspired by somebody I used to know.
Relm Dances - It's... okay. Heck, it's old.
Setzer-chan - A simple bust shot (and no, not that kind of "bust", at least not this time).
Terra Sings - The last in my 'musical series'.
Tina - "Tina" is Terra's name in Japan. My first and only attempt at a non-chibi FFVI drawing. God I hate this pic. XP
Final Fantasy VII
Cait Sith - Um, yeah. XD
Chibi-Aeris - Really damn old, and not very good. Made as a gift.
Flower Girl - Another Aeris pic. Done as a gift.
At the Gold Saucer - Wheee. Obviously, that background's not any of my doing.
Red XIII - Probably one of my favorites.
Tifa - My favorite girl from FFVII. I was pleased with how her shoelaces came out in this pic. =d
Final Fantasy VIII
Angel Lady Rinoa - Absolutely ancient. XP Done on request.
Quistis - For some reason, this one was a hit at my old message board haunt, Final Fantasy Online. Done as a gift for a Quistis-obsessed friend.
Final Fantasy IX
Chibi-Freya - I *do* like this one. Most of my FFIX stuff is relatively recent, so yeah. Made as a gift.
Eiko & Mog - Her eyes came out, like, neon green. But otherwise it's not bad.
Kuja - Okay, probably my personal favorite. XD And yes, that *is* a guy.
Zidane - This was my first chibi-FF character to actually have teeth. =D
Miscellaneous Final Fantasy
Atatakai! - "Atsui" would have made more sense, but hey, not my idea. A FFVI/VIII crossover pic, done on request.
Chocobo Waltz - A mere sketch, inspired by the Final Fantasy VI Grand Finale's Milan de Chocobo song.
Paladin Squall - A cross between Cecil from IV and Squall from VIII, done on request for a dear friend of mine... *blushes*
Sherriff - Technically, this isn't a FF pic (it's supposed to be an old friend of mine), but he's practically a blond Irvine clone. Done on request.
*heaves a gusty sigh* Well, that's all of them. I give props to anybody who actually bothered to look through all of those, if anyone did. I hope you're pleased, BJ... you can finally stop nagging me about these things now.
