Am I the only one who dislikes some of the art styles of the anime?

Maybe I'm being an adaptation nitpicker but..

For example the eyes of certain characters.

In the first gen Red and Green Blue's eyes looked like the anime instead of being colored. However couldn't they have colored Ash and Gary's eyes like other adaptations do with their counterparts? They gave Jimmy purple eyes and that was just a few years later. Also, it's probably the anime's art style compared to games, but some of the eyes look different. Like Barry's compared to Pearl's.
 
Eh, there are times where the art gets weird and stuff but overall it isn't that bad.
 
I hate Ash's eyes for some reason. o.o

Yeah, the art in the anime does get kinda weird at times but it doesn't really bother me.
