Amazing luck with the Masuda Method?

Has anyone experienced amazing luck with Masuda method? I have hatched 156 eggs and no luck at this point. Also, is it better to create a couple hundred eggs, then hatch them, or create a few, hatch a few again and again?

I hatched like fifteen Chikorita eggs and then got a shiny- I'd call that amazing luck. xDD

I like to get five eggs, hatch them, get five more, hatch them, get five more, hatch them, ect. But that is just how I like it.

When I bred my japanese Gyarados, the first baby Maikarp was shiny...

If that qualifies as amazing luck. xD;

Haha, thanks guys for sharing your stories! those are both accounts of what I would call "amazing luck". The only amazing luck I have had was through chaining. But, hopefully the masuda method will create the shiny Drifloon I am questing for.
