Eh. Seems kinda dumb imo.

There's already so many shows, movies, and series that simply come with Amazon Prime Video without an extra charge. Not only that, but I find it pretty ridiculous to charge extra when it isn't even the complete series. Like what??

i don't think its amazons doing as much as its most likely is Nintendo's and or the Pokemon Company's doing more or less
largely because Pokemon could be considered those companies Star Wars whichin the case of disney and or lucasfilm monetize it any and and every way possible

Oh, I understand that totally. It's not up to Amazon to set the price, it's TPC. And I don't mind them wanting to monetize it, but if they're gonna do that, it should at the very least be a complete collection.

Doesn't the Disney XD app have all the episodes? The problem being that you need access to the channel in the first place.

Amazon tried this before (not with Pokemon though) with their Anime Strike and Heera (a Bollywood based channel) channels. A major complaint from other anime fans was having to pay an additional monthly fee for a channel you could only get through Amazon Prime, which you had to be a member of in the first place to get. Eventually both became part of Amazon Prime with no additional cost. So considering they tried this before and didn't succeed I don't know why they think they'll get it right this time and that also taking in account the Disney XD app which gives you every season (including the current Sun and Moon episodes), the only downside is there are commercials (but they're short and they only play at the beginning and near the half-way point of the episode).
