Amity square trick

I dunno if this has been posted before, and it may only work if you have a Shroomish with you, but I noiced that if you talk to your Pokemon DIRECTLY below the fountain, facing horizantaly, it drasticaly increacs your chances of getting a berry. Any imput on if this atually works would be appreciated.

Have you tried with any of the others in front of the fountain? (sorry, I'm at work so I can't help you check...)

Lol. I remember your saying the exact same thing about using the Pokeradar to hunt shiny pokemon. :p

Still, it isn't something I've heard before either. I wonder, if it's true, if there are other places in Amity square that work like this for the other pokemon...
 
Getting berries in Amity Park isn't difficult as it is. Every 200 steps, your Pokemon will find something, so you just have to wait until you find a berry. Just leave the pedometer app on your Poketch; 200 steps isn't really a lot.
 
I have gotten 3 accesories with my Torchic and the rest were berries. Does this mean anything?
 
I often got a lot of berries by walking only on the flowers. I'm told it doesn't matter, though. I don't know.

lulz...he usually doesn't fix pages he's made and he's already got an Amity Square page...

I'm betting he'll just leave it up the to Serebii forums to discuss and disseminate the info to its members.

Edit: Not that his page NEEDS fixing, just if we can prove if this has merit or not.
