Amtrak begins Pokémon sweepstakes: Winner to receive trip to New York, $600 gift card

Amtrak, VIZ Media and Pokémon USA are sponsoring a "Gotta Catch a Ride to New York!" sweepstakes open through Oct. 13. The winner will receive a five-day/four-night trip to Pokémon USA in New York with three guests via Amtrak and a $600 American Express gift card.

I think PUSA is doing it to get more people to like them after all the VA madness.
 
That's kind of a cool contest, but I'm sure it takes longer just to get to New York by Amtrack... (I guess this isn't for west coasters...)
 
Eww, Amtrak. I took one of their trains on a trip to the Midwest once - and it was a traumatizingly bad experience. I was scared of trains for a while, seriously.

I'm still tempted to enter, though, even though I'd miss a day or two of classes if I won...
 
Since I live about a half-mile away from the tracks, I could probably try to watch it come by in both directions.
