Is it a bad idea?
They all have second types of course, i just wonder if it's smart to do.
I was thinking:
honchcrow, crawdaunt, houndoom, weavile, cacturne, and maybe umbreon/ spiritomb for the last one.
I'll find out move sets once i figure out if it's actually worth my time.

any suggestions?

First, you may want to delete your second post. Double posting isn't usually liked on the forums.

Okay, I like the idea of an all dark team, but as I've heard other people say before: not every pokemon needs to fit the theme of the team. Like if you have a sandstorm team, not every single pokemon needs to benefit from Sandstorm, because it can leave you open to several weaknesses that could be covered (in this case, the fighting and bug weaknesses that are shared by dark types). I know you may think a Spiritomb could stop this, but say if your opponent uses Foresight on Spiritomb, he's just like any other dark type: weak to fighting.

So I do think this is a cool idea, but maybe one or two pokemon don't need to be a dark type (though that could be against what you're going for). Six pokemon you could use are Honchcrow, Spiritomb, Drapion, Weavile, Luxray, and Floatzel (though Luxray and Floatzel are just my ideas of two pokemon that could stick with a dark theme, but not have to deal with the dark type weaknesses).

alright so i could use pokemon that have dark moves in their movepools? that doesn't sound so bad.
i was only thinking about an all dark team because it sounds cool.
i wasn't sure how effective it would be in a battle scenario

I kinda like your idea. Maybe a team that has pokemon that are dark that know dark move and some that know dark moves but are not dark? You could have a gengar with shadow ball and focus blast, hypnosis and dream eater, if used right, gengars can be pretty tough, especially since they are generally speedy.

I am building a fighting type team with good secondary types like Gallade "Fighting/Psychic" and Infernape "Fighting/Fire" Lucario "Figghting?Steel" etc...actually the only pure fighting type I have is Machamp.
