An AU without Ash

In the games, we had evil leaders appear from worlds where they succeeded, why probably means the PC didn't exist. How would an AU where Ash didn't exist look like? Other than the world getting destroyed, how would his friends and Pokémon fare in such a world?

Let's see:

Brock: He would still be stuck in his Gym.

Tracey: He wouldn't have met Prof Oak.

Serena: She probably would be stuck at home.

Charmander: Dead

Chimchar: Would have probably been killed by these Zangoose after meeting them again

Tepig: Dead of starvation

Froakie: Still abandoning his Trainers
 
Misty: Continues her life at the gym like things never happened.

Togepi: Found by someone else and never gets to go to the Togepi Paradise.

Max's Ralts: Died from the illness it had because Max will never find it and rush it to the pokemon center..

Lillie: Still won't be able to touch Pokemon or had taken much longer to start being able to touch them.

Litten: Still lives in the abandoned house even after the old Stoutland passed away.

May: Takes longer to get into contests and didn't do as well as she does with Ash being around.

Dawn: Does contests, but takes longer to get as good as she is now. She never has Aipom.

Kiawe: His Charizard gets stolen by Team Skull because he has a hard time fighting them while holding a full heavy milk container.

Delia: Has a different child or doesn't have a child.
 
Sabrina: Still psychotic and turning challengers into dolls or killing them.

Cilan: Never leaving the gym. Never seeing the world.

Iris: Roaming around and still opening her mouth and causing trouble.

Serena: More than likely never leaving home and leaving a life of oppression and expectations from her mother.

Bonnie and Clemont: Still at the gym. Clemont's never progresses as a trainer/gym leader and inventor.

Todd: Never met the group this never meets Professor Oak and Gary, fades into obscurity.

Team Rocket: Probably dies and many countless operations are never stopped with hundreds getting their Pokemon stolen and taken from them.

Volkner: Never snapping out of his depression.

Korrina: Never able to figure out the 'problem' with the Mega Evolution bond and the strain of her relationship with Lucario.
 
Pikachu: Forgotten by Oak because no one was late
Oak: Never gets to see Delia that often
Team Rocket: Dead on the St. Anne
Gary: Still an arrogant jerk and never wins a league
Nebby: Gets completely screwed over by Faba
Tepig: Left to die by his original trainer
Chimchar: Goes back into the wild and never learns to control Blaze
Gible: Never learns Draco Meteor

I could go on and on but I want others to write stuff too

On a side note, this thread made me realize how much I appreciate Ash. Without him my favorite characters like Serena or May will just be an empty shell

Unless a different trainer replaces Ash, but even then idk how well he/she will be

Mewtwo: Never got stopped. Never realized his own power to make better of himself and that not all humans are evil.

Lugia: Never met managed to quell the anger and rage of the Legendary beats, and dies.

Jasmine: Never got the medicine for Ampharos

Lucario (Movie): Remained in the staff and never discovered the truth of what happened.

Skyla: Never got to realize her lesson, and continue doing those mind-battle thingies probably lost her position as a gym leader.
 
It all depends on how you interpret it. Some things only Ash could solve. Some others could've been done by anyone. For example, you could either say Charmander would've died or that a passing Trainer on their way to the Pokémon Center found and rescued him.

Tbh I still don't get how this was even a thing to begin with given that the rope was tied around Tepig's snout, not his mouth, which is beneath the snout as seen in the official artwork. If Tepig would have died of starvation without Ash, then I'd blame Tepig completely for not knowing its own anatomy.
 
Not much would have changed, other than the realities of some random, non-important people.
There would've been another chosen one, who would have happened to accidentally stumble upon Shimouti Island before movie 2000's events and the tapus might have chosen some other trainer worthy enough to be the possessor of Nebby.
