An idea for future games

I don't really think that this could happen, but I think it would be cool if you could. Basically, I think it would be neat if you could stick a special card made by Nintendo into a game, then you could transfer Pokemon into it from your PC, then move them to another game.

Well, what I was thinking was that it could mainly be used to store Pokemon on, kind of like those games that exist, when you start a new game. But since I just remembered that games like that exist, this idea is now useless.
 
No, no, I see what you mean. If I could store Pokemon on my computer, then I could store a lot more than you can on those games. I think this could be a good idea...
 
yeah let's do that, so it will be even easier to clone pokémon (just copy a file on the pc) and share hacked IV pokémon online. No really, it's a bad idea.
 
I doubt we'd need something like this though. If Gen V is on Nintendo's next handheld, it's a safe bet to assume that it'll have storage space of it's own, since the DSi has storage space. If it's for the DSi, it's unneeded too. We would only need this if Gen V was on the DS again.
 
Let's hope it's on the DS then. Although, if it's on the DS, they might just do an update for MPR.

of course, just like they "prevent" us from getting jirachi in R/S *cough action replay* or like they "prevent" us from getting Darkrai in D/P by putting him away and you can never get it untill you get the event only memebr card (or if you use an AR or try to tweak your way there).

What I'm trying to say is: hackers will always find a way to abuse it, and this way it'll be easier (hacking programmes anyone?)
 
In a perfect world, this would be a good idea. And there would be free ice cream. But the reality of cloning and hacking makes this a poor choice for a feature, as it would only make it worse.
 
You know what I want? Downloadable regions. Like if you have a DSi, you can save them onto your SD card and use them as tickets into new regions. Or maybe customizable islands. Like secret bases, but entire little islands and you can only put specific types of pokemon on them. Like there could be restrictions based on trainer card level, or maybe what pokemon you already have. maybe evolutions based on how many steps a pokemon travels behind you. Like get Farfetched to follow you for 200,000 steps and then the next level up you get some kind of ostrich or something. Maybe pokemon items actually changing the sprite? Like giving them hats or something. Or having unique pokemon, ike the notched ear pichus or giant slowpokes that are similar in rarity to the Shinies. I mean, not all pokemon are the same, right?

Just throwing out ideas, though.

Now this is actually an awesome idea, which I think that hacking would benefit. I'm sure if someone made a hacking program to allow you to create any region you want, people would come up with some uber awesome shit and you could download it and whatnot. It would give the game infinite replay value.
