With the evolution of the UnderUsed Metagame, my old UnderUsed team soon became out of Date (with Umbreon being moved up, and the introduction of Dugtrio/Donphan). As I Looked through the list of UU-NU tiers, I noticed two pokemon that really deserve more use than they have received. Hence, i made one my premier sweeper, while the other my revenge Killer.
The Unusual Lead
Primape@Focus Sash
252 Attack/252 Speed
Adamant
Vital Spirit
Close Combat
Payback
Ice Punch/Fire Punch (thoughts?)
Vacuum Wave
Yes, I understand. This is a VERY uncommon lead, but it functions very well. Vital Spirit prevents Roserade from putting it to sleep, Ice Punch is for SE against her. Close Combat is for stab, and vacuum wave is for Priority, a STAB one at that. Payback allows primeape to hit Uxie, Mismagius, Rotom for SE. Honestly, he works very well, hes uncommon, meaning most wont know his ability, and he is a very good lead.
Yanmega@Life Orb
252 Special Attack/ 152 Defense / 100 Speed
Modest
Speed Boost
Protect
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Hidden Power Ground 70
Your Standard Speed Boosting Yanmega. Depending on the threat, Yanmega either Protects, or attacks with the appropriate move. Hidden Power Ground is for Coverage against Regirock (47%-50% Damage) and Registeel (35%-40% Damage), making one of his best counters a 3HKO. Life Orb is for an extra boost, making Mantine a 3HKO, Uxie a 2HKO (68%), and Clefable a 3HKO (38%)
ProblemsStandard problems for a Revenge Killer. I lose all momentum i had, and the opponent gets a free set up turn
Milotic@leftovers
252 HP/ 252 Spe Def
Marvel Scale
Calm
Toxic
Surf
Confuse Ray
Recover
My Annoyer, as well as Special Wall. He's like blissey, but with better type resists! and not a fat ass. Confuse Ray+Toxic is a very annoying combination, recover is a recovery move, to ensure he can continue annoying, and surf for STAB.
ProblemsLapras, Poliwrath, and Steel Types. Also, anything with physical bulk
Ambipom@Life Orb
252 Att/252 Speed
Jolly
Technician
Fake Out
Double Hit
Fire Punch
U-Turn
This is my slightly Odd Ambipom Set. Standard Ambipom Runs Fake Out for the Technician boost and the flinch, and U-Turn for Scouting. Double Hit and Fire Punch are the Oddities on this set. Double Hit is excellent at breaking substitutes and Focus Sash, which is always helpful when sweeping. Fire Punch is to counter Registeel, Tinted Specs Yanmega, Leafeon, Tangrowth, etc.
ProblemsGhost Types, Specifically Rotom
Donphan@Leftovers
252 HP/ 100 Attack / 152
Sturdy
Impish
Ice Shard
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Earthquake
My Bulky Donphan, running the Standard Set. I use him to stop physical attackers, specifically fighting types. Ice Shard to combat Yanmega, Rapid Spin to rid myself of Stealth Rocks and Stealth Rocks to put up my own.
ProblemsPretty much any water type, or anything that carries Grass Attacks. I am seeking a better Rapid Spinner/Stealth Rock User.
Leafeon@Life Orb
100 Attack/ 152 Defense / 252 Speed
Adamant
Leaf Guard
Swords Dance
Quick Attack
Leaf Blade
X-Scissor
My Favorite Addition to D/P. He is bulky enough to rattle off a swords dance, fast enough to abuse it, and strong enough to use it well. Quick Attack is for Priority, X-Scissor is for Dark/Psychic and other Leafeon, Leaf Blade for STAB against Rock/Ground/Water, and Swords Dance for the obvious boost.
Any Advice is Welcome.
