Is Pokémon Pocket Monsters Black and White (the manga that has Isamu Akai) still running? I haven't heard of any news about it lately.

It's still running, yes. New chapters are printed in every issue of CoroCoro Comics (which comes out the 15th of every month) and CoroCoro Special (which comes out on the 30th every two months).

Also, calling him "Isamu Akai" is kind of misleading since he's only referred to by that name in one panel in one chapter during the series' nearly fifteen year run. Everybody in the series just calls him "Red" (レッド).
