People who have lingering regret or blame God for there misfortune are unable to reborn. They instead awake in the afterlife with the main idea of attending the large school you awake in so you can be reborn but every once in a while. People who had such horrible lives that blame god for or can't accept that there dead decide to do the exact opposite and cause chaos and stay as long as they can and then. There are people who have accepted there deaths or fulfilled there lingering regret but wish to stay and help others get reborn. The afterlife itself is primarily a large boarding school where classes, sports, and clubs are held and attended by a lot of students but most of them are NPC"s. There were apart of the world from the very beginning and have no souls. Human students who attend classes, go to clubs, play sports, or just act as a good student in general end up dissapearing and being reborn.
Like every story, there's two sides to this one.
Class SSS: Rebels Against God
A battle front created by rebels who want to stay in the afterlife and rebel against god for there horrible lives. They do this by causing chaos in general. Breaking rules, skipping classes, ETC. They create weapons from a place called the guild which is a large cavaren underneath the school which manufactures weapons. They often fight the Student Body Counsel using those weapons because the Counsel tries to enforce the rules and try to help other humans cross over. They even have a band for the sole purpose of distracting NPC's during large battles to keep them out of the way or to steal there lunch tickets for a free meal.
Student Counsel
Basically people with tittles such as Student Body President, Student Treasurer, ETC. This is really just a facade because there main purpose is to enforce the rules and help people get reborn. Instead of using weapons. They use a computor program called Angel Player which they use to edit there bodies and in tern give them unique abilities such as generating a long sword from your body or something else. The abilities are called Guard Skills and are voice activated. Though there only used as self defense. The main reason to counter the attacks from the Battlefront. Those who break rules and get caught are kicked off the Counsel. (Key word being Caught).

Like every story, there's two sides to this one.

Age: 16
Appearence:Hikari is blonde haired girl who stands at 5,3. She is slightly thin and has pale skin with blue eyes. She wears her blonde hair in two pigtails tied with red ribbons. She wears the typical Battlefront girls uniform which is the typical white (The typical White blue collered blouse with a blue mini skirt) along with white ankle socks and Mary Janes.
Personality: Hikari is often thought to a charismatic leader who can scare people sometimes with her general attitude, She is very smart and calculating when it comes to battle strategy. She can be rather violent when it comes to offending her. Despite her cool demeanor, Hikari cares deeply for her Comrades, and considers them family.
History: Hikari's home life wasn't the best. Her father was very abusive of her and her mother. And he would often get physically violent with her and her mother. She tried her best to keep him calm and to stop hurting her. But She was only a kid... There wasn't a whole lot she could do. One day when Hikari's dad pulled out knife to harm her mother, Hikari tried to break up the fight... Only to have her life taken away.
Weapons: Hikari often uses Pistols or Revolvers but will ocasionally use a machine gun in heavier combat. She also carries a switchblade, just in case she runs out of bullets and or she needs to fight close range.
Skills: Hikari is a decent shot and is very good with most guns, and she can easily hold her own in a close range fight.

Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Will stands at 5,5 with a rather skinny build. He has blonde perfectly combed hair with rather large green eyes and wears the usual school uniform.
Personality: Will is easygoing and kind but not a pushover. He is very smart and knows when talking problems out is useless. He speaks to even people he doesn't care for with formality and kindness. He detests violence but will fight when needed.
History: Will's parents died in a car accident and he was forced to go live at an orphanage. He was constantly bullied by the other kids and was beaten alot. He suffered from depression. One day when walking back to the orphanage. Will was a victim of a hit and run where he died on impact. When he awoke in the after life. Will had no memory of the events that took place when he was alive. After regaining them over time he thought that his life was unfair but after seeing kindness from other students and NPC's, he came at peace. Deciding he wanted to make other people feel good. He started helping students feel at peace so they could move on.
Guard Skills: Field: Will discharges electrity though his body and anyone he touches or touches him get shocked like they were touched with a high voltage taser.
Flare: Ignites Will's hands with fire and he can deliver powerful burning punches
Freeze: An aura of cold surrounds Will's body and freezes any thing he touches.
Skills: Will is a decent artist, and one of his hobbies is sketching.

Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Yuki stands at 5,7 and weighs 120 lbs. He has pale skin with blood red hair and bright green eyes. He typically wears a modified version of the boy's Battlefront Uniform, which usually consists of a sepia colored jacket over a white collered shirt with a tie and black slacks. However Yuki wears a White Tee shirt and does away with the tie and only wears the sepia colored jacket durring mission briefings. Instead of of wearing black slacks, he wears a black pair of shorts with a pair of boots and he also wears a silver choker with a star charm on it. Yuki also carries around a Black Accoustic Guitar, but in concerts, plays a cherry Gibson SG-Speacial.
Personality: Yuki is a music nut and loves playing his guitar and singing, he usually faces the world with a smile, and seems to be one of the more cheerful members of battlefront. But this smile actually masks a lot pain. He can come across as scatterbrained, and careless, but Yuki can be very cunning and resourceful when needed.
History: Yuki was a boy who knew since he was little that he wanted to be on stage and singing. He picked up guitar at an early age and started to write his own songs. He always dreamed of being a famous singer one day, but when he about to perform for his big break and to get into the music industry. He was hit by a drunk driver, and he died before the ambulance got there. When he awoke in the afterlife, he became pretty popular with the NPC's with his street perfromances, and Hikari took notice. In exchange for creating Diversions for the NPC's while being in Battlefront, he could recruit members to form a band that would become the Diversion Unit. After collecting a few members for the band, he dubbed it Lovesick Immortal and he's been helping out the Battlefront's cause ever since.
Weapons: While he doesn't fight very much, he participates in certain missions and carries a pistol with him, for self defense
Skills: Yuki is a tallented musician, and is in charge of the Diversion Unit: Lovesick Immortal.
