Josh sighed as he looked at the Shark through the aquarium window in front of him.

“You hungry, big fella?” he asked, throwing some meat accurately into the large tank. As it began to show down, Josh walked towards the insect house.

Joe stood in GracieGrace, helping Rosie decide on which shirt to get.

“Oh, I just can’t decide.” she squealed. “The Zebra print or the Jaguar Print?”

“They’re both exquisite.” cooed Joe. “If I may,” he said, reaching for the Zebra-striped hat she had already bought and straightening it. “With this hat, the Zebra Print would work quite nicely.”

Laura's head shot up as she heard somebody rapping on the door. She rushed to the door and ripped the slit in the door open and spoke.

'What do you want?' Laura hissed, her eyes glowing amber-coloured in the harsh-lighting from inside.

'I-it's Bel-la!' Bella squeaked.

'Why, come on in, Bel-la!' Laura grinned like a hungry cat as she practically ripped Bella through the door. 'May I interest you in one of the paintings that Redd recently got? They are incredibly rare and 100% real!'

Jake squatted to his knees to look for a dishrag. He eventually found one, and pulled it out. Sighing, he looked up again while cleaning a cup. "Is there anything you want in particular, Dotty?" She looked up from the counter back at Jake. "Well, the usual I guess." He looked over to the owner of The Roost. "Alright - hey Brewster? Get Dotty her usual cup." "Right away." And with that, Jake went back into the storage area to look for some more cleaning supplies.

OOC: Gotta go, be back guys.

'Thank you for purchasing the painting, Bella. It's such a beauty, I knew you would say yes!' Laura simpered and waved goodbye to Bella, who was in a state of shock from spending 10,000 bells on only one painting. As soon as the mouse was out of sight, Laura turned off the lights, slammed the door shut, locked it and strolled out of the alleyway like it was an everyday thing to wander in and out of that infamous alleyway. Laura smirked to herself as she saw shoppers widen their eyes in confusion and shock as they saw her emerge from the alleyway and as she made her way to the uptown GracieGrace.

As soon as Laura stepped into the luxurious store, the smell of overpriced perfume hit her like a storm and classical music floated through the air. Laura smirked as she saw the customers wander around the store and caress the clothes as if they were their true loves. Pathetic.

'JoooooooeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!' Laura bellowed, not caring who heard her or if they were disrupted or offended by her.

Joe, tempted to yell “LaaaaaaauuuuuuuRRRRAAAAAA!” back, simple walked over, and put a finger on his laps, gesturing, with his over hand, to Labell, who looked pissed.

“The boss doesn’t like noise.” he muttered, rolling his eyes. “You need anything?” he asked. “I could use the commission.”

'Mate, I couldn't bloody afford it even if I wanted to waste my money on shizzle that make people look like zebras!' Laura snorted, but quietly so Joe wouldn't get in trouble or something. Laura noticed Labelle glaring at her, and decided it was time to pick up the pace before she got chucked out.

'Anyways, when does your shift end? You comin' back to Sunland or do you need to turn more people into different animals?' Laura teased.

“I think I’m don’t here…” he muttered, looking at his watch. “Right boss?” he added, looking at Labell, who nodded. “Right. Let’s go.” As they walked towards the bus stop, Joe asked “Hey, you wanna go visit Josh and Jake when we get home?”

'You bet! Awwww, man! I wish I had a bug so I could scare the shit outta Blathers! Mind you, he's probably asleep right now, right?' Laura smirked at the thought of sneaking up on the sleeping owl. It was well-known that the owls of the museum always fell asleep during their day shift in the museum.

Joe laughed quietly to himself as they reached the bus stop. “We could always ask Josh to ‘borrow’ us a butterfly from the insect house or something.”

'Hah! Yeah! But Butterflies aren't the most threatening of bugs, but ah well. Hey, is that the bus?' Laura squinted at the bus on the horizen that was travelling towards them.

“Yeah.” said Joe as it pulled up. He walked on and nodded to Kapp’n, who nodded back.

Back in Sunland, Josh wiped his brow after counting and checking all the insects were there. Finally having finished work, he walked out into the main lobby (where Blathers was sleeping whilst standing up) and then downstairs into the Roost.

“Jake, you here buddy?” he called behind the counter, winking at Brewster.

'Hey hey hey Kapp'n! How's it goin'?' Laura taunted as she sauntered over to her unofficial seat by the window on the right hand side. 'Ere, mate, don't take too long today, aight? We wanna get back to Sunland before it gets dark!'

Kapp'n replied with a shake of his head and grumbling under his breath before closing the bus doors and setting off to Sunland.

People these days.

"Jake, you here buddy?"

Jake looked back around the door to the backroom to see Josh standing by the entrance of the Cafe. "Yeah, I'm here, what's up? Need anything?" He went and lifted up part of the counter so he could get out. From there he sat down on the edge of the stage. "I'm not too busy at the moment."

"I’ll take a decaf with pidgeon milk.” said Josh casually to brewster, sitting down next to Jake.

"You heard the man, Brewster. Get Josh a decaf." He nodded. "Are you taking a break, Jake?" Jake shrugged. "Sure, why not."

From there, he got up from his seat, casually strolling to the stage. He climbed up on it, and admired the dusty piano in the corner. "I'd give pretty much anything to be able to play that..."

“I used to help KK during his concert on that.” said Josh, taking his coffee with a word of thanks. “He’s playing tonight, isn’t he?”

"So he is. I always love it when KK comes here. It brings spirit to Sunland, I think."

Jake smiled, remembering the times where he had to work on Saturday evenings. So many people came that it almost filled the whole room, and besides good business, the atmosphere was always settling. Everyone loved KK, and those that didn't had no idea what they were missing out on...

He came back to his senses. "So, got any plans for later tonight, besides seeing KK?"

"Me and Joe were gonna go Cherry picking." said Josh, sipping his coffee.

The bus had been rolling along for only a few minutes, but it felt like ages to Laura, who had been tapping her feet impatiently the whole time. When the bus finally creaked to a stop, Laura flew out the doors without another word.

'Hey, d'you think K.K's playing tonight?' Laura asked Joe.

"Cherry picking, huh? Sounds alright to me." Jake sighed again and sat down on the edge of the stage. "I guess we wait for Laura and Joe to come, right?"
