Notice how after Diamond & Pearl there was a noticeable improvement in animation in Black & White like how the move Stone Edge is now CGI instead of being Digital animated or hand drawn also Flamethrower looking more like FX effects or something.

Also if I'm correct there is just more CGI in the anime & everything just looks more shiny, new & polished now but what I'm wondering is that doesn't it cost more to animate it? the animation style was just fine in DP I wonder why OLM or The Pokémon Company wanted better but more expensive animation.

I also don't have a problem with it I'm wondering.

Yes, there is a ton of CGI now and yes, it is more shiny. And yes, it is more expensive. The result: most battles are little more than a set of [random] stock footage moves. Was the change necessary? Doubtful. Why was that even made? We'll probably never know

I wish they could go back to DP style, less CGI and less stock footage (as far as I remember).

I think it is much better if they never go back to that DP style CGI animation which was bland and boring.

Its just laziness on the part of the animators to make one animation for every instance of a particular move regardless of the context in which it gets used.

I have to agree with the above. I don't think I'll ever let the instance where they used Snivy's Vine Whip animation when she opened a PokeBall go.
