Anime Characters To Include In My Fic

My fic is about Mikey and his journey through Kanto. Along the way I'd like him to meet other characters from the anime. So far Professor Oak and Tracey are in the first chapter, Samurai's in the second chapter,
Jiroo will be in the third chapter, and Damien will me in the fourth
. I plan to have Mikey meet the other main characters but would like suggestions on which minor characters people would like to see in a fic. Also, suggestions for Pokemon you think Mikey would catch would be nice. He already has Eevee and
will be catching a female Nidoran in fourth chapter and will get a Staryu at some point
but I'm not sure what the other three should be.
 
Mikey has gotten popular these days, hasn't he? Well, it depends one what it is that you plan to do with his character, in my opinion. Some could be running jokes, some straight-up powerhouses, others a manifestation of his own character.
