Anime to get new theme songs: 'High Five!', 'Surely Tomorrow' to debut Oct. 2

TV Tokyo's Pokémon Diamond Pearl Web site has confirmed that the anime series will debut new opening and ending themes Oct. 2. The opening, iHigh Five!/i (lit. ihigh touch/i), will be sung by Rica Matsumoto and Megumi Toyoguchi, the voice actors for Satoshi and Hikari, respectively. Kanako will sing the ending, iSurely Tomorrow/i (lit. iashita wa kitto/i).

Delia's (Ketchum, I'm assuming that's who you mean, i.e. Ash's mom) Japanese name is Hanako.

Kanako is probably just some random singer. It would be pretty damn random for Satoshi's mom to sing the ending.

Just watched the openings on YouTube, it would be good it they kept the original Japanese ending animation (dubbed) for the series that gets released in the UK. I hated it how they just roled credits on a black screen for the Diamond/Pearl Series. The Piplup animation ending is better. T_T
