At the first annual Seiyu Awards (声優アワード), the Pokémon anime was awarded the synergy award (シナジー賞). However, nominees Shin'ichirō Miki (三木眞一郎), nominated Best Lead Actor for his role in Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars (スーパーロボット大戦OG -ディバイン・ウォーズ-), Megumi Toyoguchi (豊口めぐみ), nominated Best Supporting Actress for her role as Hikari (ヒカリ) and Megumi Hayashibara (林原めぐみ), nominated Best Radio Personality, have all failed to win their respective awards

What is a "Synergy" award?

It seems to be just a recognition award for the entire cast of Pokemon sticking
together throughout a decade of work.
