I know they're sisters. The problem is I can't *prove* it. It's not in the Bulbapedia for some reason, but I *know* it's canon. Where does it say that they're sisters?

Also, why does the Bulbapedia list them as being Rockets when they're not?

It wasn't a suggestion. Jessie very clearly said that they were in Team Rocket and since this is Annie and Oakley you're talking about and not the Japanese versions, they're Rockets.

Admittedly I haven't seen the movie yet, but the only line that anyone's ever quoted me about their possible involvement with TR is Meowth's line about them possibly being spies for Giovanni. And even if they are, working for Giovanni doesn't automatically mean that they're Rockets. He could hire them as free agents, after all.

The dub is to be disregarded in this matter. All aspects are inconsistent with Rocket membership.

Zanna is the elder, Leon is the younger.

Yes, and Rion calls Zanna "Nee-chan" or something like that, so there's the evidence.

I never got the impression that they were Rockets....since TR usually wears the uniform at some point in the anime episode/movie. Then again, I didn't watch the butchered and obviously wrong dub...

Um... ever since the movie was released in Japan and the first trailers featuring them came up, I believe they it was stated that they ARE rockets. I forget where, but I've always thought of them as rockets, and I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't read that somewhere.

It certainly isn't mentioned in the book I have about the movies - so it was probably dropped later on.

I watched the English version of it. It makes it very clear that they are indeed Team Rocket members, probably used only in special missions. Even if it doesn't say that in Japanese, they still work for Giovanni. Whether they are "members" of Team Rocket or not, they are definatly involved with the organization. Plus, how do you think they got the funding for all the cool stuff they have? Like the car that turns into a jet? That screams "built by an evil organization."

Cars that turn into jets are standard equipment for spy-skills. Duh. Bringing in a piece of evidence that cannot be changed between versions weakens your argument. Your association that car-jets are "built by an evil oraganization" really must tick the heck out of James Bond. Srsly. Invalid evidence.

Besides, they're thieves. Yanno, thieves steal? They steal pokemon, artifiacts, and...you know what? Cash. /That's/ their funding.

Now, I have a problem with the part in bold you see.

Fact: 4Kids is cliche. 4Kids is in control of the English script. 4Kids has the power to make the dub say anything they want. They want Annie and Oakley associated with the Rockets, that's the dub. Why? Because you can't be independently evil anymore these days; union rules. *sarcasm*
- Opinion: 4Kids most likely doesn't want little kids to think that you can be a thief and still not be connected to a terrorist gang.

Fact: If it doesn't say anything in the Japanese script (which is the original source of the movie) or in the reference book(let)s everyone's referencing from about their alignment to , it's not fact.

Fiction: Zanna and Leon are Rockets.
