In the first of two of the largest, but separate events, Marvel will release Annihilation: Prologue on March 15 (in the US, and I'm sure a few other countries as well). This event will see the return of most of Marvel's cosmic characters (Silver Surfer, the Richard Rider Nova, Super-Skrull, and Ronan are at the forefront) to the comic stands when a new threat emerges in the universe (because, I guess, the Brood and Phalanx weren't enough). Following the Prologue, we'll see Nova, Silver Surfer, Super-Skrull, and Ronan appearing in their own mini-series, which will be followed by the actual Annihilation series. This series promises to make the cosmic characters major players in the Marvel Universe once again (it's been quite a while since Captain Marvel was cancelled, and even longer since Silver Surfer).

I can't wait. I loved the cosmic characters and to see them return should be fantastic.

Didn't Super Skrull just get killed in Young Avengers after kidnapping Hulking? : /

Speaking of which, read Young Avengers.

Oh, please. If every character who was hit like that died, we wouldn't HAVE a Marvel Universe.

Hey, I've been reading since the first issue. I've even got the issue of She-Hulk with Stature and Vision in it. Young Avengers is awesome, and the Kree-Skrull War II seems to play out just prior to Annihilation, so there MAY be a connection. Maybe Tommy pisses off an alien group.
