Mike Pollock (15:00:03): Not too mention I'm really pissed about being quoted without permission.
Mike Pollock (15:00:09): The first time.
Mike Pollock (15:00:43): That's enough to make me stop chatting entirely. You'll be my last. Again.
Mike Pollock (15:01:08): You have my permission to add that that to your posts.
ArchaicEternal (15:01:21): Well, you weren't quoted at least. Not exactly. It was said you said something, but we never saw a log or anything.
ArchaicEternal (15:01:27): Understood and willdo.
Mike Pollock (15:01:50): My name was dragged into it. And that's bad enough.
Mike Pollock (15:02:07): You'll notice no mention of sharing the info was made the first time.
ArchaicEternal (15:02:19): Indeed.
ArchaicEternal (15:02:38): I'll talk with WPM about that later. He's usually a lot more careful about stuff like that.
Mike Pollock (15:02:56): From now on, all chat invites will be referred to the MikeMessge. Tell him he ruined it for everyone.
Mike Pollock (15:03:30): If 4Kids keeps the dub and I'm not in it, you may know why.

No one is to bother Mike about things relating to Pokemon again from this point onwards, or we'll start issuing bans. Capesh?

Also, if anyone may have mentioned Mike's AIM name recently....go back, find your posts, and remove that from them, ASAP.

Agh. This is terrible! Maybe we were getting a bit over our heads gushing about the possibilites of getting VAs on the BulbaCast. I feel terrible about this - I really hope Mike Pollock doesn't get in any trouble for this. He certainly doesn't deserve it.

I feel sick. Technically, I started this - whether serious or not, I was the one who got the idea in my head about sniffing out the VAs and inviting them to the BulbaCast. And if I'm reading this correctly, that's more or less what caused this, and I'm also one of the ones who helped the whole idea gain momentum with my gushing and... and...

...

...maybe I'm overreacting, but I just feel really guilty right now. This shouldn't be happening...

EDIT: ...wait, maybe this isn't even related to that. Agh. I can't even tell. I have a tendancy to blame a lot of stuff on myself and I don't even know if this refers to what I think it refers to or if it's just me thinking it refers to something else because somehow someway I must be the cause of all bad things in the universe and *cutting off here since she is seriously freaking out*

Um, so what is this all about? What did WPM do that was so bad? Seriously, Archaic, when you make big posts like these, most people need context.

No, it shouldn't be happening, Pie.

And also, I've spoken to Mike before too, so I could be partly to blame for this as well.

But, I didn't go around quoting him or anything without his permission.

It's just a shame that someone did that.

It's sad. :-(

And by the way, Archaic, I made an earlier post on one of the BulbaCast threads where I mentioned Mike's AIM name.

Anyway, I deleted his name from that post, so it's fixed now.

Although, later FabuVinny quoted me on that thread, so I can't fix that.

Here's the page where he quoted me:

http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?t=10722&page=4

Can you fix it, Archaic?

Also Pie, this wasn't your fault at all.

Are you sure? If you say so... <={ *still feeling worried and guilty and freaking out a bit*

Agh. This is really bad and I hope it doesn't get worse. *buries head in arms* Isn't there anything we can do about this?

I removed it. Thanks for mentioning that. @_@
That's good.

And you're welcome, Pie.

*sighs*

I wish there was something we could do too.

Poor Mike.

I really hope he doesn't get into any trouble because of this.

He's not going to get in trouble about this, stop worrying.

The incident was just basically him being misquoted over something by WPM (He made a statement in conjecture, and that was presented as a statement of fact), when he hadn't even given permission to be quoted there, and being very unhappy about it.

Ah, I see. That makes me feel better... somewhat.

I don't suppose e-mailing him a big formal "I'm so sorry this happened" thing would be out of line? I'm still feeling bad about this. =(

EDIT: Also, we just lost any and all chances of interviewing him for the BulbaCast, right? That's one of the big reasons why I'm feeling so bad about this... what was possibly among our best ideas just went down the drain.

Well, that's good to know.

Thank goodness.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Pie.

While I'm not logged in, and I may be possibly breaking some rules, hear me out.

Mike Pollock has been taken advantaged several times in the past, and has been, how can I say, quoted without the actual truth, or quoted without permission. This has caused Mike Pollock to cut back, and not allowing fans to contact him. (I've made some rare contacts with him, but it's just to see how he's been, and a few misc. VA questions. Nothing major) Though, this may be the last straw this time.

Several months ago, Mike pulled back due to a huge issue (which I cannot remember the details at this time, and even if I did, I probably wouldn't be able to mention it anyways), and now this is going to possibly cause a huge uproar. Not to mention, this stuff can sometime possibly cause the loss of someone's job, even if it's a simple "misquote".

I do hope people will soon learn to stop taking advantage of Mike. Even if the above is accidental, still, he has been taken advantaged in the past.

Given that there doesn't seem to be any lasting consequences from this whatsoever, besides the obvious one of him withdrawing further, and he wouldn't have been breaking any NDA's from what he said, even if he had said what he was misquoted as saying, I'm hopeful that this won't cause any uproar with 4Kids. I honestly can't see them needing to "punish" him over this.

Poor Mike, stuck in the web of Khan's sick business.

No offense to Mike or anyone, but he did sound a little overeacting to me in that chat. I hope nothing bad happened!

I feel sorry for Mike. I didn't even know he was misquoted. *gets ready to do something evil to 4kids*
