A God falls from the sky.

Arceus is captured after centuries of preparations, the secret organization makes its move and takes over the mystifying creature.

New God is chosen.

Religious wars break out due the contrast of beliefs, those who used to believe in Arceus start fighting for the new God against those who still believe in him and try to free him. More people start losing faith because the supposed God they believed in was caught by humans.

A war breaks out, Sinnoh becomes the center of the world.

Arceus loses all trust in humans, the day of the next Judgment approaches. The world is in chaos, without the belief everything starts falling apart.

What do you guys say about this concept?
 
I don't really see it working as well as you might have envisioned it.

I can't really place it, but it doesn't really fit together...

I can't really specify it.

It does seen like an interesting concept, but I don't really see a story just centring around these events without becoming dull.
 
I agree with Kyuu but I think I can be more specific.

This could work well as a background of a story but isn't enough of a basis for a story by itself.

I think you need to think of protagonists and antagonists who are more uninvolved with the mythological(ish) side of the story in my opinion.
