Tyler woke up to see daylight flooding into his bedroom. He sat up in his bed and looked out the window. It was a warm, crisp, day. A flock of Pidgey flew past his house. "Finally, today I get a Pokemon" he thought. He got out of bed and put on his black and blue pants, after he put on his black and blue sweatshirt. He went into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and combed his brown hair, then headed downstairs. He saw that his mom was hunched over the stove, cooking breakfast for him. She put a plate of hot cakes down in front of him, "Thanks, mom!" Tyler cheered. "You're welcome." she said back. Tyler finished his breakfast and got up. "Have a great journey" his mom said, tearing up a little bit. "I will, mom" he said. "Also come back to visit, sometimes." "I will." Tyler replied. They hugged each other, and after a quick parting of ways, Tyler was off, down the route towards Professor Elm's Lab.
 
Hunter awoke with a start. Gazing groggily around, he found himself wiped out on the concrete floor of his basement. "That was some party last night." he inquired, picking himself up. Hunter took a quick glance at the clock. "ARGH! I'm late!" he cried, looking past the crushed beer cans and motionless bodies of drunk partiers scattered about the room, and running upstairs. He quickly pulled on a pair of black shorts and a red sweatshirt. Grabbing his rushsack on a hook near the door, he dashed outside, adjusting his gold and black cap atop his head. He sped down the roads of New Bark Town, almost crashing into a brown-haired boy in blue and black attire. Finally, the lab appeared into view. "Yush! I'm gonna make it!" Hunter cheered, moments before crashing into a large elm tree. Looking up, a little dazed, he said, "Hi, Professor Elm. Could I haz a Pokemon?"
 
Tyler saw a boy wearing a red sweatshirt and a baseball hat speed past him. Tyler raced after him and finally caught up where he found him next to an elm tree, asking it for a Pokemon. "Uh, are you okay?" Tyler asked.
 
"Uh, are you okay?"

Hunter turned to see the boy he had almost run into before towering over him. "Yes. I'm fine. Why?"
 
"Well, when you see someone who just smashed into an tree and is asking it for a Pokemon, you usually want to know if their all right. Anyway I gotta go get my Pokemon" said Tyler dashing away and into the lab.
 
"POKEMON!!!" Hunter screamed. "I'm on my way to get my first Pokemon too!!!" he squealed, running after Tyler.
 
Tyler entered the lab. He saw Professor Elm busying himself at his computer. "Um, hi professor." said Tyler. "Hi, I can't talk right now, if you're here to get a Pokemon take one from that table. Tyler walked over to the table. He heard an explosion behind him. He turned around to see that Prof. Elm's computer blew up. Now, he walked over to Tyler. "Which Pokemon do you want?" "I'll pick...Cyndaquil." "Good choice" said Prof. Elm. "Also take this Pokedex." Thanks said Tyler.
 
Hunter burst throught the lab door. "I'm here for a Pokemon, my good man." he said, walking over to Professor Elm. "Also, just so ya know, there's an emo kid staring into your window."
 
"I'm not EMO!" yelled Silver and he burst through the wall and took a Chikorita. "Hahaha!" he yelled and ran away.
 
"Fuck!" Hunter cursed. "I was gonna pick Chikorita." He looked over the remaining Pokeball. "Looks like I'm stuck with Totodile."
 
"GOD DAMN IT" yelled Prof. Elm. "What the hell is wrong with that kid. Anyway, since you guys are here, can my granddaughter travel with you?"
 
Hunter released the Totodile and let it sit on his head. "I think I'll call you Murray." he said. "And no. She's probably ugly as shet."
 
Just then Prof. Elm's granddaughter walked in from the back of the lab. She looked like this:

"Sure, she can travel with us" said Tyler.
 
"Yup. I was right." Hunter said, walking out of the lab. "Oh, and by the way, I'm Hunter." He slipped Tyler a small business card.
 
Tyler ripped the buisness card. "Let's go" said Prof. Elm's granddaughter "Oh, and my names Gabriella" "Okay" said Tyler. Tyler and Gabriella walked out of the lab.
 
Hunter facepalmed. "Oh well. Guess I'll be seeing you. C'mon, Murray." he said, taking his first steps out of New Bark Town.
 
"Wait, Hunter" said Tyler "You wanna travel with us?"
 
"Travel.........with you? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Hunter cackled. He fell to the ground, laughing. "Do you have cookies?" he asked, wiping away a tear.
 
"Bye" said Tyler as he and Gabriella walked out of the lab and started walking down the route.
 
"Fine." Hunter said. "I'll come with you, since I have nothing better to do." Murray cheered.
