Chapter 1: The small boy​

In Sunyshore City of the Sinnoh region, there was a boy named Anthony. Anthony was a 10 year old boy with spikey hair and a dream to become an Ace trainer that beat the pokemon league. Anthony was short for his age. He always watched as his dad battled other trainers. Anthony's dad, Austin, was a champion in the Johto region, Kanto region, and Sinnoh region. His dad's pokemon team consisted of Honchkrow, Empoleon, Torterra, Raichu, Rampardos, and Abomasnow. It was 3 days after his 10th birthday that Anthony was ready to set out for his adventure.
Anthony was so excited to set out for Sandgem town to meet Professor Oak, until he heard bad news. "I'm sorry, but I can't take you to Sandgem Town. You can go in 2 more weeks," said Anthony's mom, "and that means your friend Marco will have to wait too." Anthony's mom, Caitlynn, was a pokemon breeder. She had to go to work in Pastoria City because there was a sudden outbreak of the flu. Due to that, she had to replace some breeders who got sick.
Anthony was upset. He didn't want to wait 2 whole weeks to get his pokemon. His friend, Marco, was supposed to go with him. Anthony's dad wasn't home at the moment. He had a meeting with gym leader Volkner. Anthony decided to go to Marco's house.
"WHAT! 2 WEEKS! BY THEN BRYCE WOULD'VE ALREADY GOT HIS POKEMON AND BADGE! AND SO WOULD JACE!" Marco shouted in anger. Marco was taller than Anthony, he looked 13 but he was also 10 years old. Bryce and Jace were two brothers who were Anthony and Marco's rivals. They were departing to get their first pokemon in 2 days. Anthony said sadly, "My dad can't take us unless he gets a bunch of free time." "Then maybe I should take you now" "WHOSAIDTHAT?" Marco shouted. "Jeez Marco. Calm down. It was my dad, see," said Anthony.
"Marco and Anthony," Anthony's dad said, " tomorrow, I'm taking you two to Sandgem town personally." Both of them shouted "YEAH! NOW WE CAN BEAT JACE AND BRYCE!" Anthony's dad said "You two should get to sleep now. We leave at 11:00 AM.
Marco went to bed and Anthony and his dad went home. Anthony fell asleep as fast as ever.

Chapter 2: The Departure​

Anthony woke up at 7:46 AM. He ran to Marco's house in his pajamas. Marco's mom let Anthony wake Marco up.
"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!" Anthony shouted. Marco mumbled, "give meh 2 mow minuges" Anthony shouted, "NO! YOUR NOT EVEN PRONOUNCING WORDS RIGHT! GET UP! WE GOTTA BEAT BRYCE AND JACE TO SANDGEM!"
Marco jumped up. "Go get your dad"
Anthony's dad wore his hiking boots, and a jacket with hiker pants. Marco wore a red T-shirt with black pants and had a black back pack. Anthony wore a white T-shirt, a blue jacket, and blue pants. His backpack was white.
All 3 of them had pancakes, eggs, bacon and left Sunyshore City. Of course, Anthony's dad brought his pokemon with them. It was a long walk to Pastoria City.
"Hey! Look! A hotdog stand!" Marco ran to the hotdog stand and bought 6 hotdogs. He used the money that his mom had given him before he left. As Anthony and his dad made it to the hotdog stand, Marco was eating the 5th hotdog. Anthony didn't want a hotdog. Marco ate all six of his hotdogs in less than 1 minute.
"uh..." Anthony said, looking at Marco funnily. "Let's just get goin."
12 minutes later they reached Pastoria City. They stayed for 30 minutes to take a rest. Marco ran around in circles awaiting their departure for Hearthome city. It was a longer walk than the walk to Pastoria.
26 minutes later, they packed a lunch for the trip. After they packed their lunches, they set off for Hearthome City.

Chapter 3: Gydenkai​

On their way to Pastoria, the 3 spot a small cabin.
"HEY! MAYBE THEY'VE GOT A BUNCHA HOTDOGS!" Marco said excitedly. "Don't you feel like your gonna throw up yet," Anthony said curiously, "I hope they have waffles and maple syrup. I'd love that"
"COME OUT, RAMPARDOS!" Anthony's dad and Rampardos walked toward the cabin. "No one's heard of a cabin on this route. Me and Rampardos are gonna scout ahead, you two stay put" he said.
"WHAT! SOMETHIN ACTIONY IS HAPPENING AN WE HAVE TO SIT AROUND AND WAIT!!!" Anthony sighed. Marco, you need to chillax (a mixture of relax and chill) he thought.
Anthony pulled a piece of candy out of his pocket and ate it. Marco looked around curiously. Then he spotted a shiny, light green stone.
"Hey Anthony, check this out." Marco picked up the stone. "It has a wierd thunder mark on it," he said. "That's a Thunder Stone!" Anthony said. "Oh, I forgot..." Marco said.
Austin (Anthony's dad) and Rampardos reached the cabin. Austin knocked on the door. "Hello?" he asked. No answer. "Hello?" he asked again. "Austin of sunyshore ccccccityyy..."
The door creaked open. A man about 6 feet tall jumped out.
"Long time, no see..." he said. "Gydenkai," he mumbled. "Hey Anthony, who's that man talkin to ur dad?" Marco asked. "huh? A man?" said Anthony. They crept closer quietly to try to hear their conversation.
"Finally, I can redeem myself and my Pokemon," Gydenkai said, "LET'S BATTLE!" Gydenkai was a 34 year old man. He was healthy and had orange hair. Marco sneezed. "It appears," said Gydenkai, "that we have some little spys."
Austin said, "C'mon out, Anthony and Marco. I'm gonna show you two how to battle"

Chapter 4: Gydenkai -vs- Austin​

"LET'S GO, HAUNTER!" Gydenkai shouts. Austin commands, "Rampardos, stand by! COME OUT, HONCHKROW!"
Anthony held the Thunder Stone in his hand as he watched. Marco kept screaming, "Make Haunter faint in one move!" Anthony watched carefully. Marco was screaming like he was at a football game.
"Honchkrow, use Dark Pulse!" Honchkrow closed his eyes, then opened them as he shot his Dark Pulse. "Haunter, counter it with shadow ball!" Haunter use his shadow ball as fast is it could and braced itself. "HONCHKROW, USE BRAVEBIRD AND ATTACK FROM BEHIND!" Austin was thinking smart. Haunter was too busy bracing himself for the Dark Pulse to Shadow Ball collision. Before Gydenkai could command a dodge, Honchkrow hit Haunter in the back with Bravebird.
Haunter fell forward and hit the ground hard.
"HA! MY DAD'S ONE OF THE BEST!" Anthony shouted. Marco wanted Haunter to faint in 1 attack, but it fainted in 2. Regardless, Marco was screaming, "WOOHOO!"
"Haunter, return." said Gydenkai, "Congrats Austin. Just like last time. Well, since I only have 2 pokemon, let's wrap this up. GO, MY SHINY CHARIZARD!!!" Out from an Ultra Ball, came a shiny Charizard. It was that Charizard that beat all of the Sinnoh gym leaders and the pokemon league without fainting.
"Honchkrow, return. Come out Empoleon!" Austin shouted. Gydenkai said, "It was that Empoleon that beat my shiny Charizard. We will not loose again!" Charizard eyed Empoleon angrily. Empoleon smiled angrily. "Charizard and Empoleon must really hate each other," Marco said. "Yeah," Anthony replied.

Chapter 5: The top two Pokemon!​

Gydenkai started, " Last time we battled, Austin, I watched carefully and watched how you battled. This time, I won't lose." Anthony decided that if he payed close attention, he'd be a better trainer. So he did. Meanwhile, Marco found an Oran berry bush and picked an Oran berry. He put it in his mouth and started to chew.

"Plooosh!!! THAT'S DISGUSTING!" Marco spit out the Oran berry, or whatever of it was left. "Oran berries are definatly for Pokemon..." He spit out one last small chunk of oran berry. Finally, he decided to watch the battle.I'm gonna get a Charizard one day, he thought.

"Let's start this! Empoleon, use Flash Cannon," Austin commanded. Anthony thought, if Empoleon is a water type and he has the advantage, why did dad use a steel type move. Empoleon charged up a large amount of power then released it into one blast. The energy blast headed right toward Charizard. Then Gydenkai thought, that old trick. Heh.


"Charizard, manuever 13," said Gydenkai. Charizard knew exactly what to do. Charizard used Fire Blast to stop the Flash Cannon. Then, at top speed, he flew behind Empoleon and used Flamethrower. Empoleon took little damage from the impact of Fire Blast and Flash Cannon. After he was hit by the Flamethrower, he took critical damage.


"WOA! DAD TRIED TO USE ONE OF HIS COMBOS BUT WAS COUNTERED BY ANOTHER COMBO!" Anthony shouted, "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THAT DUDE USED CODE WORDS INSTEAD OF THE DIRECT ORDER!" Austin stared at Empoleon, thinking. So, codewords and combos. Quite clever. Marco was looking at Charizard, amazed. He thought, Charizards are epic. I'm positive that I'm getting one.

"Empoleon, use Hydro Cannon!" Austin shouted. He wanted to end the battle quickly because Charizard might win. Then Gydenkai shouted, "Charizard, manuever 34." Gydenkai only taught Charizard 35 manuevers. Charizard flew up, then started spinning. To top it off, he used Flamethrower. The combination of spinning and using Flamethrower made the ultimate Fire Tornado.

"SWEET, A FIRE TORNADO! GO CHARIZARD!" Marco shouted. Both Anthony and Austin looked at him angrily. Marco said, embarassed, "er- I mean... go empoleon...yay." Anthony thought --> :sweat:. Anthony squeezed the ThunderStone harder.

Empoleon was in the eye of the Fire Tornado, so it used Hydro Cannon finally. He let out a beam of raging water. Hydro Cannon stoped the Tornado. Austin shouted, "NOW, EMPOLEON USE SURF!!" Before Empoleon took action to his order, Charizard was commanded to use Blast Burn. So he did.

It was too late.

Empoleon was hit hard with the Blast Burn. He fell fast to the ground. Then Empoleon fainted. "Empoleon, return." Empoleon returned to his pokeball. "It's okay, don't feel bad," Austin said. "Come out, Honchkrow!" Honchkrow came out of his pokeball ready for action. "Well, if it's someting we all know, it's that Charizard has to recharge after using the ultimate Fire Type attack, Blast Burn," said Austin, "Now, Honchkrow, use Brave Bird!

Honchkrow jumped up, flew up high, then came down hard using Brave Bird. He hit Charizard hard, but, Charizard took little damage. Austin gasped. "You should know," Gydenkai started, "that me and Charizard have been doing alot of training. Due to our training, he can endure the hardest of attacks." Charizard stood up strait, recharged. Gydenkai commanded, "MANUEVER 35! GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT CHARIZARD!" Manuever 35 was Blast Burn. Once again, Charizard used it. Three firery explosions came. In one flash, Honchkrow fainted.

Austin started laughing. "Congradulations Gydenkai. After 11 long years, you managed to beat me." Anthony looked at his dad, shocked. Gydenkai said, "Now that I've finally beaten you, d'you wanna start off new?" Austin replied, "Sure, buddy." Anthony, Marco, and Austin stayed at Gydenkai's cabin for 3 hours. Gydenkai and Austin befriended each other. Anthony and Marco were taught tips of being a trainer. At 5:00 PM, they left for Hearthome city.

Chapter 6: Heart - home City​

"Hey dad," Anthony started, " while you were battling, Me and Marco found a Thunder Stone." Austin (Anthony's dad, don't forget plz) looked at it. He said, "You should keep this, Anthony. You may need it someday." Anthony put the Thunder Stone in his back pack. * * * About 13 minutes later (exact time= 12 minutes, 53 seconds) Anthony, Marco, and Austin arrived in Hearthome City. They went to the pokemon center first. While nurse Joy healed Austin's pokemon, Anthony and Marco spotted a familar face.

"Hey Anthony, look. It's Katherine. Y'know, the girl you like...from trainer school...you should go talk to her." Marco said. Anthony blushed. "Uh...er...sorry...um...MY FEET ARE GLUED TO THE FLOOR! I CAN'T MOVE!!!" Marco sighed. He grabbed Anthony and pushed him toward Katherine. Anthony rubbed the back of his neck and said, "H-h-hii Katherine." Katherine smiled. "Hello Anthony from Pokemon Trainer school," she said. Anthony replied, "S-Soo...what's up?" Katherine looked at Anthony puzzled. "You okay?" she asked. "Never b-better!" he replied.


"Anyways, I'm going to Sandgem Town with my mom to get my first Pokemon. What about you?" Anthony stared at Katherine, thinking . "Anthony? Anthony? ANTHONY!" Katherine shouted."HUH, WHA? Oh...I'm traveling with my dad to get my first pokemon too." he said, "D'you have a boyfriend?" Anthony asked Katherine. "No." Katherine replied. She started to blush. "D'you want one?" Anthony asked.

"ANTHONY, IT'S TIME TO GO!" Austin shouted. Anthony told Katherine, "I guess I'll see you in Sandgem Town." Then Katherine said, "Okay, bye. See you then!" Anthony, Marco, and Austin left the Pokemon center. They went to the HeartHome Hotel for the night. Anthony stayed awake, thinking about Katherine, while Austin and Marco were fast asleep. About 6 minutes later, he fell asleep.

The next morning, Anthony ate waffles for breakfast then went for a walk outside. Marco got up and searched for hotdogs while Austin was outside, training all of his pokemon. Anthony walked to the Hearthome gym. He read the sign. It stated:

Hearthome City Gym
Psychic Type Gym
Leader: Fantina​

While he was reading the sign, Katherine spotted him. She walked toward him and said, "Good Morning, and I do want a boyfriend. See you in Sandgem town!" Anthony watched as her and her mother left Hearthome City. He smiled. He went back to the hotel. One hour later, Anthony, Austin, and Marco left Hearthome City. The next stop was through Mount Coronet to Oreburgh City.

Before they left, they bought 4 tents. Two for Anthony and Marco for when they become traveling trainers, a big tent for their journey to Sandgem, and one for Austin. It didn't take long to reach Mount Coronet. That's where they were now.

Chapter 7: Mount Coronet​

Before passing through Mount Coronet, Anthony, Marco, and Austin took a short break. After Marco ate 6 hotdogs from the hotdog stand on the route to Pastoria City, he became obsessed with hotdogs. Anthony still thought about Katherine and his dad, Austin, was playing with his pokemon. They were playing with a ball. Raichu kept passing the ball to Abomasnow, who was always trying to keep the ball going in a circle.

"Please," Marco started, "TELL ME YOU BROUGHT HOTDOGS!!! IWANTA HOTDOG!!!"

"I have a sausage," Austin replied.

"I WANT A HOTDOG!" Marco shouted.


Anthony sat on the branch of a tree that was about 6 feet tall. He sat and thought about Katherine.

Katherine was 3 centimeters shorter than Anthony. She had medium - sized black hair. She had beautiful blue eyes and wherever she went, she wore her pink back pack. Anthony and Katherine met in trainer school and whenever they both were near eachother, they both went shy.

"Alright, time to get moving," said Austin.

Anthony jumped down from the tree. Marco picked up his back pack. Anthony, Marco, and Austin went into Mount Coronet.


They each pulled a flashlight from their back packs. They turned them on.

"Keep your eyes peeled." Austin said.

"I bet there are tough wild pokemon here..." Anthony said.

"If there are tough pokemon, when I get my first pokemon, I'm coming back here." Marco said.

They continued walking. Anthony tripped.

"WAAAA!!" he shouted.

Marco jumped.

"What happened? Marco asked.

"Anthony replied, "I tripped on a......"

He looked down at his feet. He saw a ball, half red and half white. Marco looked at the ball curiously.

"Hey, that's a Pokeball." he said. "It's mine!"

Marco grabbed the Pokeball as fast as he could.

Anthony said, "You can have it anyways cuz I have a Thunder Stone."

They continued their journey through Mount Coronet. Anthony kept tripping, but he kept tripping on normal rocks. While walking, Austin spotted a shiny blueish-green floating disc. The three approached it, cautiously. They finally reached the disc, only to find that it wasn't a disc, it was a Pokemon.

"It's a Bronzor. Come out, Honchkrow!" Austin shouted.

Honchkrow stood still. Then, he waved at Bronzor. In a matter of seconds, Honchkrow and Bronzor became friends.

After a few minutes, Bronzor left. Honchkrow returned to his Pokeball and Austin brought out Torterra. They continued their journey.

Anthony's grandfather was an inventor. He invented a device that was a watch with: Internet, games, phone, and text, but it was way different from a Poketch. The Inventor Company declined his new invention, so he decided to make one for each of his family members. He called his inventions, A watches. Anthony's grandfather had the same name as his father. Anthony had a blue A watch with a Pikachu picture and decoration. Before he left Hearthome City, Katherine gave him her phone number. Katherine had Anthony's A watch number.

Anthony was trudging, awaiting a call.

Sorry that it's been so long, but here's chapter 8!

Chapter 8: At the end lie bordness!​

It was 3:18 PM and Anthony was still waiting for a call. Anthony, Marco, and Austin were almost through Mount Coronet.

"Uh... I bet that when we walk out of this mountain, the sunlight's gonna burn our eyes." Marco mumbled.

Finally, Anthony's A - watch started ringing and buzzing.

Anthony shouted, "ALRIGHT!!!"

His spirits soon fell when he found out that it was his mother calling to check on them.

"So, how's it going?" Anthony's mom asked.

"we're fine..." Anthony mumbled. A few minutes later, his mom hung up. Anthony continued his trudging.

"LOOK! A light!" said Austin, "That must be the exit!"

Marco squinted to the light. "Yeah, that's the exit."

The three walked slowly to the light and out of Mount Coronet.

"ACK! THE LIGHT! IT BURNS!" Marco shouted, as he ran back to the mountain. "SEE! I TOLD YA IT WAS GONNA HURT!"

Anthony spotted a large, shady bush, ran to it, and slid under it while covering his face.

"IT DOES BURN!!!" Anthony shouted.

Austin stood and watched the two boys scurry for darkness. "It's just a little light, c'mon. Let's get movin." He said.

They finally reached Orebough City. The first place that they went to was the resturant.

"So," Austin started, "What's for lunch?"

Anthony ran to the breakfast counter and jumped up and down while shouting "WAFFLES! LET'S GET WAFFLES!"

Marco walked toward a buffet and just started eating.

Austin gave a weird look at them both. He gave them both $15 for food and went and bought a 6 - slice peporoni pizza for himself.

All 3 of them sat at one 4 - person table to eat.

Austin said, "Y'know, Orebough city is famous for the Orebough mine."

Anthony replied, "It's also famous for being one of the most boring cities in Sinnoh."

Marco snickered at that comment. Austin gave an angry frown.

Anthony continued, "Dad, I've done alot of research and I've discovered that, well, everyone knows that...umm...how do I put this...OREBOUGH CITY IS THE LAMEST CITY IN SINNOH!"

"Well, you sure like their waffles," Austin replied.

Marco jumped in, "This kid, Anthony, will eat any, AND I MEAN ANY, type of waffles."

Austin looked at Anthony's 3rd waffle. It had a bit of mold on it. Anthony had spotted it but still ate the waffle.

"Umm...that's nasty," said Austin.

After lunch, they set out for the Orebough mine. They took a tour with a very boring tourguide.

The tourguide stated, "And on the left we have a mining cart from the 1960's that was used by many miners and pokemon used to help miners mine while other people some other people tried to steal from the mine and..."

Anthony looked like he had died from bordem. Marco fell asleep on the way, but Austin payed close attention.

The tour started at 4:00 PM and was supposed to end at 5:30 PM but instead ended at 6:47 PM. When they got out of the mine, Anthony and Marco ran around like maniacs screaming, "OH MEH BOARDEM! OH DAIRY 'O'" Finally, they went to a pokemon center for the rest of the day.
