Any news on...

And the combined pre-order for Arceus? That'd be so great.

That'd actually be one of my big reasons for picking up both games, rather than just Heart Gold
 
No word yet. I suspect that we will get the news sometime in February, that's how it was with Platinum's Giratina figure.

I actually have the little Arceus I think... My friend got it for buying Platinum and gave it to me. Either Gamestop was giving out stuff they shouldn't be (This was a few months back), he got something extra for working there (never know...), or the Arceus isn't meant for us to be a pre-order goodie.

... Looked at the picture on the site, Yeah I have the Arceus.

This... may not be a good sign for the figures... Dx

On black friday, if you buy Platinum, they will give you a little Arceus ^^ (I don't have it, anyway)

Oh that was the promo they did? Now it makes me wonder why they even HAD these in the first place. Looking at it, it is, no doubt, the same Arceus promoted for the JP HGSS pre-order bonus... so why did they already have it and were giving it out?

Caps lock is not cruise control for cool. It'd be cool if we get a Fateful Encounter Celebi or something for pre-ordering. Though, they haven't even given those out in Japan yet, so I doubt it.

I went and preordered HG today at gamestop (paid in full, so I don't need to wait in line, just in and out) and we had a chat about preorders and stuff. He wound up opening a drawer full of promo stuff at the end of the chat and handed me an Arceus figurine, "Just in case we don't do any more promo stuff for these games." I'm looking at it now, but haven't opened the box yet.
 
Very cool. Hopefully they'll give them out where I intend on buying my game.
 
Will the figurine be free, or included with your pre-order?

So far it seems that only Gamestop/EB is having this promotion.

I'm going to pre-order my copy later tonight. FUFUFUFU
 
its on the offical english pokemon website that you get either ho-oh or lugia depending on the game you preorder
