Any plans for article 5000?

I know we're a little ways off, and we still need about 250 more pages, but I wouldn't be surprised if we reach that over the next 3 or 4 months. In fact, we could probably reach it by simply finishing all the character of the day and anime-only location articles, as well as a couple of TCG and manga articles.

Are there any plans for when we finally hit the big five zero zero zero?

I can make something about Golden Boys.

I have the whole series on my bookshelf, there is nothing that I don't know about that manga.

I can also do something about Pocket Monsters by Kosaku Anakubo but I have only volumes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9 (I missed 8 because I wanted to see the begining of Johto arc, rather than finale of Kanto arc). So, I don't know everything about that series.
 
Character of the day and anime exclusive location articles, particularly from Master Quest, late Orange Islands, and Advanced Challenge/Battle, are going to be fairly easy for me to create. I don't know too much about the Manga or the TCG, so I can't really contribute to those articles. Right now, I'm working on fixing up the Gym articles. English voice actors I'm also fairly good at, so I can work on some of those articles.
 
Psh. It's more fun to see it happen unplanned, I think.
 
4,000 was a deliberate effort by me, when we were at 3,990 or so. 250 articles? Hmm. Well, if we do one for every single item (like the Japanese wiki) we might easily achieve that.
 
Characters of the day would be fairly easy adds.

I've considered that, but... unless we are willing to add in high level of detail (like every shop that sells it, every location in every game where it can be found, etc.) they'll all be stubby. And even if we get all the info in there, they'll still probably be short.
 
I've always wanted a page for every item. Appearances in other fandoms would make them page worthy, iirc.
 
I always get so frustrated when I see articles like that, especially when I haven't seen the episode with that character in it for many years. If I had seen the episode recently, I would be able to add on to it. But since it's been six years since I've seen some of those episodes, I don't want to risk adding inaccurate info to them.
 
Zeta, you scared us for a little bit. I was deliberately adding articles to get up to 4,999 so Pie could post 5,000, but you jumped in and posted some while I was. We caught it, though. :)
 
That article about Trixie... It takes the word stub to a whole new level...
And the description of the episode gives no information that I can use to add to the article... err...
Lets see if I can download the episode somewhere...

By the way, Pie, congrats on getting article 5000. I read it. It lacks something... I just dont know what...
