Any% run of Pokémon Pearl to feature in FINNRUNS Winter 2026, supporting World Wildlife Fund Finland

The Finnish speedrunning community are once again coming together for the winter 2026 edition of the FINNRUNS speedrunning event, which is taking place at GamePit Pro in Jyväskylä, Finland, from January 2nd through to January 6th. This year's event is raising money for the World Wildlife Fund, specifically to help the endangered Saimaa ringed seal. A run of Pokémon Pearl is scheduled for the event, which can be watched from its official Twitch channel.

FINNRUNS is one of the oldest speedrunning marathons around, originating in 2014. It had a presence at Speed Games United from 2017-2019, and has been a biannual events since 2020. Several side-events have also taken place throughout its history.

The details and expected time for the Pokémon run at the event are as follows.
