Does anyone here know if any such websites exist to explain changes made to the anime upon dubbing?

I do understand that Pokemon had been aired in America by 4Kids, which had also aired butchered versions of Ojamajo Doremi/Magical Doremi and One Piece.

For example, I know that names were changed, and things are sometimes changed to something else (such as an onigiri being replaced with a sandwich). I'm pretty sure that a lot of dialogue would also have been replaced.

So, does anyone know if any such site exists for Pokemon?

Dogasu's site is pretty good, as usually he refrains from ranting about EVERY SINGLE CHANGE like some comparasion sites do, and will even admit if something works better after the change, or if an edit took nothing of value out (there's a LOT of those in Hoenn).

That's what usually annoys me about those kind of sites too. I do like Dogasu and I think it's the best place to go if you want to know about the differences. I haven't been there much, because the dub really is the thing for me.

I wouldn't go looking for differences from some fansubs, because those people sometimes just change the dialogue to suit their own taste.

But Bulbapedia also usually has the "Dub Edits" section for most episodes.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Please feel free to leave any feedback over in this thread here on Bulbagarden.
